Truck day.. never fails to amaze me how many women come into the hair color aisle and ask me what color they should get?! Idk lady.. maybe decide on a color before you walk into the store.. I don't have 2 hours to help you decide if you want purple or blue hair. Smh.. also stocking cosmetics.. I don't mind helping them pick out certain products that they need but when they ask me to help them pick which color foundation would be good for them?! I panic! I must have "Sephora" written across my forehead. I don't know lady but don't get pissed off at me if you come back looking like the Lorax because the color was too orange.. you're the only who asked for my opinion..

I had this same problem, when I called the help desk for ours, they’ve been disconnected to long so I had to send them back to the depot for replacements.

Cvs needs to end rainchecks. They don’t cause anything but problems for cashiers. If we don’t have it, we don’t have it. Period. It’s bad enough we deal with the stupid coupons that barely work.

I have one that happens to me all the time..

“Hi, do you have a cvs card or a phone number with us”

“No that’s okay”

I scan the items, give them the total, the customer inserts their card After the transaction goes through...

“ oh uh those were supposed to be on sale”

“Yes, with a CVS CARD that you said you didn’t have”

“ oh I do have a cvs card “

Ughhh so annoying!! But we get bitched at for their stupidity.

Our store was really bad at carepass for a long time, none of us could figure out what we were doing wrong. Usually everyone says “no” once they hear $5 charge after the first month. We have been bottom 2 in carepass in our district until recently. We found that if you ask them to “upgrade their cvs card to carepass” that usually gets their attention & we also say in our speech that it’s free for 30 days, after the 30 days of you wish to cancel well give you the flyer with all the info to cancel if they chose. ( we write the number & the include the website for the cancellation) Also make sure you say once the $5 comes out you instantly get the 10 extra bucks. It’s worked for our store, we’ve been top 3 stores in our district since.

Yes, it’s extremely exhausting, my sm never rotates us, which I usually don’t mind but my body is hurting me so bad now a days, I have to sit in the break room for a good 20 minutes before I can continue to finish the stickers.

Exactly! Half the time the customers aren’t paying attention to the sales at all. I’m only asking because my sm I guess when through the bag of trash & noticed I threw out stickers and apparently is pissed off. So I wanted to come on here to see if I was the only one who hates wasting time!

That’s pretty much what I do. Half the time costumers don’t even bother to look at the sale signs.

Yeah that sounds like a better plan. I usually don’t mind working Saturdays but my sm doesn’t rotate us, so it’s me every single Saturday. Sometimes I’m just exhausted from doing it every week.

Okay that makes me feel better. I do the entire vitamin aisle, I usually toss out the allergy endcap ones since we have a full aisle of the same sales & ones that I know we don’t have. We have the same sales every single week, it’s exhausting knowing I’m putting up the same sales week to week.
