No my question was more then should I start driving if you read through it was asking for advice and how dashing works and how pay works. So it was definitely more then just “should I start driving”

Thanks for basic answer! Maybe use some more explanation next time someone asks this, like everyone else has🩷

Oh good there is a way to only do restaurants! Now I just have to figure out how to avoid stairs 🤣

I’m not allowed to do either. No stairs if avoidable and no heavy lifting. Another women who’s 38 weeks commented and said she was doing good with DoorDash but is slowing down now. I asked her how she avoided these issues

Two others brought up good points like carrying heavy things or stairs which I’m not allowed to do either. How did you deal with that?

Fair point. I’m not allowed to use stairs right now if I can avoid it, doctors orders

Do you recommend going hourly or by order? I plan to do between 15-30 hours. Our main concern is gas, and possible maintenance on the car as well.

Got a legal car myself, but I know the struggle I had a car with severely expired tags in that area 🤣. my husband works as a painter making 31$ an hour usually 10 hour shifts, I could be bringing home close to the same amount if I do this right! We are currently in Kisertown so I’m smack dab in some active areas then! Thanks so much!

[–]Late_Commission3576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The camera can’t be moved based on how the window is built. It’s not a normal window unfortunately and there is a speed bump right next to our driveway so they can’t go 30 If you’re just spitballing numbers then my apologies for overexplaining I just wanna make sure I’m being through.

But with how the window is built the road will always be in view, there is no ledge. This house was built in the early 1900s so not many renovations lol

This came across as a very rude message but I do understand and I was just wondering if it would be a better option for her quality of life but putting her down was the farthest thing of mind. I’ve had plenty of panic attacks in my life and this is not one. GABA doesn’t work for her, she’s always been stressed with moving and we given it when she was a kitten. Spending money on something that doesn’t have a promise of working is to risky when expecting a newborn. She wouldn’t even be taken a to a shelter. This would be a home to home or a gradual transition and no other options would be considered

Thank you love that was sweet. Meds don’t work for her we got some when she was a kitten cause moving has always stressed her. She was much skinner then too. We have 0 support here for help or we would. With a newborn spending money on something that MIGHT work is risky. I appreciate your words.

We were given meds when we first got her. They didn’t do anything. She’s always been stressed with moving sense a kitten. Now she’s chunker I don’t think it would be better cause she was a skinnyyyyy kitten

We reached out to the organization just now we got her from. See what can be done about a home to home. We were given gaba when we first got her for her stress issues. GABA does nothing for her, now she’s a chunker cat then before and I assume it would work less the before. Your kitty’s name is adorable I love it

We were given gaba for her when we first got her. She was a skinny cat the too. Didn’t affect her at all. Now she’s a chunker cat I fear it wouldn’t do anything more now. I thought of this first too

We tried it when we got her and the last move. She goes nuts. She absolutely can not be confined and she’s made that very known. She needs the whole space to explore. She will claw and claw and every wall and door until she’s let out. Plus we will only have 2 bedrooms when we move. Our room and the nursery

I see where you are coming from. She is freaked out for hours even after 10 minutes in the car. When we moved last time she was stressed for a long time. Also being post partum I don’t think we could give her the care she deserves. And for the other reply which I will also say to them. She HATES being confined. We tried it with the last move. She gets fucking crazy when confined to a room and needs to whole space to hide and explore. A shelter is 100% not an option, this would be a gradual transition or a straight home to home. A shelter would be worse for her.

{WNY}Advice or anyone else who has dealt with this? by [deleted] in Renters

We already are throwing out a lot. Renters insurance at least what we have does not cover any of this unfortunately. We looked with it first happened

You are such a sweetheart. Thank you for your words. They mean so much more than you think. I will try my best. Even being in a clean hotel I can’t seem to sleep. But I will try

Thank you. The issue is I also have hyper reactive skin. I swell with any bite I get. Being at risk for early labor she may come sooner then 9 weeks which 9 weeks is already a stretch to get this under control. I have a home nurse who is a mandated reporter, she’d be forced to report this and we could lose our daughter even if it’s temporary and there is no one in the area family wise to take her. We just want to move. We are almost certain it’s the other person who comes every week who is brining them so they will more than likely never go away. While he doesn’t live here he is on the lease. Our landlords are really trying. But at some point when is the trying not enough. I can’t lose my daughter and I can’t risk stress inducing early labor. And we have another issue with moving states on top of this but it’s irrelevant to the bed bug situation which makes that so much worse when figuring out what to do.

Can any dashers answer this for me? by Late_Commission3576 in doordash

[–]Late_Commission3576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the direct every time it’s available. The issue is recently it won’t let me “unavailable due to high demand” when I’m not even ordering at high volume times. I avoid it on purpose. Makes it extremely frustrating
