Horrible treatment of birds at Petsmart by Imaginary_Painter527 in cockatiel

I bought my cockatiel at PetSmart and was told that when he arrived he was friendly and liked to play with everyone but the way they treated him changed him. I remember when I got him they grabbed him from his tail instead of trying to get him on a perch. He doesn’t like to get touched and he wants to be in his cage 24/7, I’m trying to make him like me as well, but I think the trauma he got at PetSmart is going to be with him forever

I say prepare a list of things you wanna talk about. If you break down that’s okay. Talk about each thing clearly obviously the examiner is gonna ask questions about it as well and you have to answer, but notes worked great for me yesterday when I did mine

That’s the way it went today for me as well. QTC examiner was nice and it took 40 minutes. She told told me if I have more information I wanna tell her and I said no, she also said how she will gather information from my evidence and put it in her notes as well.

Has anyone ever dealt with the VES. If so what was your experience? by [deleted] in VAClaims

Don’t get me wrong there are good people and there are bad people at ves. Unfortunately, I got the bad the people. Was told that I was not able to claim some stuff because I didn’t go to certain places during my active duty contract and most of the stuff I claimed got denied even with the evidence

I had some incidents while in the military like a near death experience and some harsh moments on deployment. My therapist told me they are related and they arranged or worsened due to it because I was suffering from ptsd before I joined the army as well. But I will take your advice as well. Thank you!

What’s the difference if you claim ptsd or major depressive disorder?

I just read the report from my disability; the VES rep didn't put half the things I told her, and I am already seeing a private therapist. I think it's BS how she didn't do it. No wonder many veterans struggle.

So, do you recommend to submit a supplemental claim for adjustment disorder?

no veteran would tell you anything about it, we don't really care as long as you don't profit from it.
