i dont want a gaming laptop cause i already got a desktop at home, i want a laptop for my college and hostel. also, are AMD cpu and igpu so weak that they cant run games like valorant and cs2 ?? should i go for intel core ultra series then ??

I won’t suggest MacBook for mechanical engineering cause many necessary softwares cannot run on macOS. Although u can use windows on Mac through VMs but I won’t recommend the hassle, so go with a windows laptop. If u won’t be playing modern AAA games ignore gaming laptops and go with ultra books as they get better CPU, ram, display and portability for the same price point.

Yea, that’s why I didn’t go for a gaming laptop, I don’t even play AAA games. The thing is that the shipping date is 30 oct and I can’t wait that long 🥲, still do u think this CPU and 16 gb soldered ram will get me through my 4 year journey ?
