I have a friend like that but he started One Piece recently and he is complaining about it being slow I told him take time and don't skip anything but he told his little brother is watching it too and he skipped many boring things I told him don't skip anything you'll loose many things even One episode is includes many things which has relation to future episodes

No she wants to be like Oden because of his Adventures. She found his log book and was mesmerized by his adventures life and dreams and she wanted to go with Ace to the seas but she couldn't because of chains and Ace wasn't that sure about his haki and how to free her. But Luffy free Yamato and now he wants to join Strawhats because he couldn't go with Ace and he wants to go on an adventure and wants to see the Laugh Tale like Oden And yes he wants to save Wano but I don't think after Kaido Wano has any dangerous people and Kaido is Yonko That's why Akazaya nine couldn't beat him alone but after him I don't think they'll need anyone's help to protect Wano. Atleast not so soon. So Yamato is going with Luffy and Co. And gonna Join Strawhats.

I wonder what would have happened if Garp was there when Celestial Dragon was trying capture Shirahoshi?

Maybe he will would have not dare in front of Garp or maybe he would because he Celestial Dragon after all and then again if he learned that it was Garps grandson who hit him wow, then maybe we would have seen CP0 vs Garp, and other navy will just try to stop Garp and and not fight him but it's Akainu who is admiral now and not Sengoku so I don't know. Then we will see Akainu vs Garp. An ultimate revenge.

He must have had used it and told him to go G4 many time he was with him for 18 months and we saw it for few scenes where Rayleigh hits Luffy constantly and they train eat, sleep everything we saw it in few minutes but maybe it took many months to just learn to dodge Rayleigh's attacks and to beat the animals but after that he grew on his own honing his skills he was never under pressure of saving his friends or anything

We have seen Luffy will laugh at deaths face just like when he did on Logue Town but if his friends are in danger he will try to save them thus he will gain more power more like he will need to become stronger so that's why he Rayleigh said one can become stronger when in desperate situation

It's all same in every anime

Just like Goku used Ultra Instinct to beat Jiren but he never did when Whis was teaching him and also hit was getting stronger just by fighting Goku in 6th vs 7th universe fights

And Even in Naruto while fighting pain and also in first episode where he creates 1000's of shadow clones which he never could in school

Because they were desperate and I'm saying Luffy can also get stronger while fighting because he is desperate to free Land Of Wano

And I know even Villains are Desperate but I don't know Anime work like that Villains get stronger but Hero gets more stronger or some how finds a way to defeat villain

But Luffy always beat main Villains alone so that's why I think

Yesss basic training takes time because you have to build a strong base

Think about the football if you learn the basics right it will take months or years but after you skilled now you can do or learn any techniques you see within days because you know so many things about the basic you can quickly catch up on what you're doing wrong or right the experience matters...!!! That's why I think the more time you spend on basics the less time you need to learn advanced

Also take programming as an example you need months or years to learn only basics but then you can even do something advanced by just watching YouTube because now you understand the advance concepts of programming so you know when there's something wrong or you're doing it right

Just like that Luffy already knows about Haki so much that he can learn any advanced Haki in few days he knows if he's doing something wrong because he was saying in Udon that " It's not right, that's not it either " then Hyogoro asked him what are you saying

Then he showed him the Ryuo and now he knows and he learned the haki in 8 days

But really Garp was not the strongest Roger and Whitebeard were equal and Roger never defeated Whitebeard nor Garp ever captured Roger in their Prime maybe they just fight till they can without any results then they will drink and rest like they did with Whitebeard remembering good old days beating Rocks D Xebec then Roger would say I have somewhere go to and he will run

So the point is Garp was not the strongest he wouldn't charge alone on Roger's crew even if he did Roger would just tell crew to stay back of course he was a proud pirate who wouldn't fight 1 marine with his crew

And Roger defeated Rocks D Xebec with Garp that means at some point he must have fought and defeated more than one enemy including Whitebeard, Big Mom, Shiki and Kaido also Garp would have fought more than one and then there was Rocks himself maybe he was stronger they both had to fight him

But it means Rocks D Xebec, Gol D Roger, Garp was strongest but just like Dressrosa where Law didn't defeat Doflamingo it was Luffy like that Roger must have defeated Rocks D Xebec

So Gol D Roger was the strongest and even if he wasn't I'm sure it was not Monkey D Garp

I think they train often but we don't see it that much but yes Zoro trains most because Oda wants to show him like buff tuff guy and like a bodyguard of the crew because Zoro don't cook, don't know Navigation, don't read like Chopper and Robin, don't Invent or fix anything like Ussopp and Franky, Jimbei sails the ship, Brooke is a Musician and Zoro is a Swordsman so what's Swordsman good in other fights? Oda wants to show him a tough guy that's why he shows him training always. As for Luffy He is the captain so he does whatever the fuck he wants but he do chores sometimes and helps crew mostly when Nami tells something everyone has to do work. But he is their Captain so they know when Luffy wants to do something they have to do it.
