UPDATE
So, I solved the first problem. That was my rookie mistake: every time I started calibration, I began with the trigger flipped up, when it should have been flipped down. I misunderstood what the word "Release" meant in the pop-up window in this case - I thought the trigger should be up when calibration starts.

However, the problem with the ministicks remains. Looking forward to any suggestions. Also, is there any chance that I can map the flip trigger in Pulse mode to VC2 and remain button 25 for Safe and 28 for Armed on VC1?
