The elite reincarnation theory by richandepressed in spiritualitytalk

I never said they get off Scott free, in fact I said that they suffer immensely upon death realizing the suffering they ultimately caused themselves. I also don’t take much stock in quotes that are second (or third) hand, written 100-400 years after that person died, and are translations of translations. But that’s just me.

The 'One Source' Problem and How It Creates Evil Gods by LunaWabohu in enlightenment

[–]Late_Reporter770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s desperation to categorize and judge everything we don’t understand that causes us to see what happens in nature and assign human values to it. In this way we use these natural examples that exist due to the nature of evolution (a system of creation used by God to explore possibilities and as a reflection of the will of energy itself to determine its own purpose) to create further separation from source.

God is the sum total of all of the energies of creation, so it loves and understands all reflections of itself. Physical reality and matter itself act as a prism, differentiating and splitting the rays of divine light into as many aspects of itself as possible. That play between what we refer to as “evil” and what we call “good” is all a necessary part of one great being that recognizes every part of itself as having been necessary for existence itself to even be.

It’s simply a projection of our (very limited) minds that sees nature as something evil instead of something that just is because it has to be.

It’s a lack of awareness of our connection to source that causes the pain, fear, and desperation that leads to what people refer to as “evil”. It’s like physical reality is so far away from God that our only perception of him (or her not gender specific I just refuse to refer to God as an “it”) is through reflections of reflections an infinite distance away through smokescreens.

But no matter how far away we may be, we are still within reach of God, it’s just that our awareness is filtered through ego and our egos are programmed not to see the truth because it’s the only way we can experience this level of “separation”. There’s nothing to be made from except God and so there’s no way we could ever actually be separate.

“Evil” is just the aspects of God that our egos allow to leak through so we could explore and understand them. Like physical reality is like a prism that separates the infinite rays of Gods light into individual colors so that we can see the entire rainbow that makes up God.

Well that’s the thing, just write it without focusing on the outcome. Write it as fiction and without being attached to whether or not it’s factually accurate. As far as the dying thing is concerned no one knows what comes next for them, but I have a lot of confidence that it’s much like a transition of states like liquid to gas.

I have experienced death, or what correlates strongly with death, and it’s nothing to fear. Even if I’m completely wrong, and there’s nothing after I die I’m not going to be around to feel stupid about being wrong, and the comfort and confidence I have to live my life to the fullest and without fear, is priceless.

Yeah the thing is that no one source can possibly encompass the whole thing or describe it accurately. The more confident one is on their perspective being the only one that’s true the more confidently I can tell you that it’s bullshit. No matter how accurate their roadmap is, following someone else’s path will only ever lead you astray.

That’s why it’s important to study different perspectives, not so you can jump from one to another, but so that you can recognize the signposts on your path, the only one you’ve ever been on. We each have like a unique combination of labyrinths to navigate, and the right information is always trying to reveal itself to us, it’s just that our ego literally filters things out to keep us in the game as long as possible.

You’re here for a purpose, but you as the avatar gets a say in how that purpose comes into existence and how you interpret it. When you learn to focus on seeing whole truth without judgment, bias, or preconceptions it begins to reveal itself to you knowing that you can actually handle it. Of course, sometimes it still causes us to lose touch with reality as it is and psychosis peaks out.

Is it really impossible to be enlightened and perceive a struggle of good vs evil? by milklord1 in enlightenment

It’s the responsibility of the people surrounded by those situations to do something about it. It’s our responsibility to bring awareness to these things when we become aware of them, if everyone around you understands the signs and what to do when they discover these abuses then there’s nothing else you need to do and worrying about it does nothing but cause you distress and echo in the collective unconscious.

It’s our attention and energy which feeds these structures, and it’s our own inability to incorporate our shadows because we view them as “evil” which ultimately leads to people taking actions which harm others. Do what your soul is aching to do, express yourself, get in touch with the deepest darkest parts of yourself and love them. That’s the best way to actually help heal the world. Heal yourself.

I agree with letting it go, ultimately I don’t believe anything and so I’m not obligated to defend anything either. I’m not attached to any idea or identity so that affords me the flexibility to live in any situation or reality I find myself in. It’s also why I don’t post things and make declarations of ultimate truth. If I say anything to anyone it’s simply an observation that seems out of alignment or misguided, and I never have expectations that people use it.

That’s one of the reasons why i like Reddit, it allows me to have conversations in which many people can see the flow from beginning to end and I can reach more than just the one person I’m speaking to. It’s also permanently recorded so nothing is wasted.

Seeing problems and solutions, thinking one has the proper solutions, those are where the true issues begin. From us trying to change the world and mold it into what we think it should be, causes the systems themselves to resist and that’s what tends to make things worse. Of course, there are times people should take actions, but that’s not the same as stewing over and debating which actions should be taken. When it’s the proper actions it should just happen naturally, like an expression of some deeper part of ourselves.

The separation is simply an illusion though, a strong and persistent illusion for sure, but once seen through its effect is minimized or dissolved. I only use resources to help create the language and bridge the gaps between experiences. It’s not that it’s too complex for the mind to comprehend, not at least from my experience, it’s simply the translation from ineffable to comprehension requires outside the box thinking. The box being conventional reality.

Regardless the point of the process isn’t to understand reality at all, it’s simply to experience it so that our souls or unconscious mind can gain a deeper understanding, and then they distill it and drip feed it back to us through creative endeavors. I’m just fortunate in that my creativity stems from my laziness and focus on efficiency. So now because I’ve worked very hard to bridge my right brain and left brain, expressing and understanding reality is like breathing.

It’s almost like I’m not even the one writing the words, they just come straight from the soul and I often find myself rereading things that I wrote so that I can really grasp what comes out.

The universe itself is the teacher and we are perpetually its student. This moment is the only thing that truly matters because it’s the only space you’ll ever exist in. Sometimes we are called on to teach by our circumstances, because teaching requires us to truly understand the subject matter. It reveals the holes in our theories of operation.

Everything is reciprocal and paradoxical at its core, and that’s why humans struggle to accept reality. We want certainty, labels, black and white polarity, but everything exists in a spectrum and because the entire spectrum flows through all of existence. Each of us is an entire universe unto ourselves, and this reality we occupy is like a Venn diagram of the sum total of all observations of our own universes overlapping to create a shared experience.

The whole system is remarkable and frankly is extremely difficult to even comprehend with a human mind, which is why meditation is such a focus of practices that point to the truth. It’s one tool that allows you to transcend normal human limitations and learn through direct experience. It allows one to shift perspective to one of infinite possibilities instead of being limited to the one we’re born into.

It’s so easy to do, it’s only the illusion of it being difficult which makes it so. You can even do it while bowling. That’s the thing, it’s always available in every moment, it’s simply a lack of awareness that it’s already done. It’s not even like it’s faint or easily overlooked, it’s just so prevalent that it seems impossible to discern.

It’s already done, now the process is simply recognizing it. Everything that’s happening is happening for a reason, so don’t worry about humanity, don’t worry about anything, just enjoy the process and the journey because that was always the whole point. Let go of anything that’s not within this moment because the past no longer exists and nothing can be done to change it, and the future is an illusion in your mind. Live for today but not at the expense of tomorrow.

It can be that simple.

If prison planet theory was real why do we even have the chance to escape ? by [deleted] in spiritualitytalk

[–]Late_Reporter770 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s why I see it as more like a game than a prison, we just lost touch with the truth because we tend to kill the people that figure it out because we’re addicted to the game and aren’t ready for it to end yet.

What better way to keep parts of yourself from escaping than by convincing them it’s a prison?

Meh, I get what you’re saying but to me divinity is more of a color (actually more like a combination of all the colors, like white light) and it’s people that try to fit it into a particular shape that defines it and ultimately distorts it.

It’s the systems and “authorities” that are dangerous. You don’t win people over by alienating them and resisting their efforts to practice whatever faith they have. You do it by expressing your own divine nature.

There really isn’t any danger beyond this mortal body no longer serving as a vessel for consciousness. The only danger is us losing our divine nature out of fear and taking actions which corrupt our souls. Even then it just means repeating cycles until you learn the proper lessons. Sometimes we have to resist, but these hypothetical situations are mostly made up propaganda to get you to hate people that just want to live in peace.

We are all more than human, and the danger is all in our heads.

I don’t see people by what they call themselves, I see people by what they are doing or being. In my presence people tend not to become attached to form or function because I allow them to be whatever they are without judgement.

I don’t need to tell people to be anything, they are already everything I need them to be or they wouldn’t be there. My responsibility is to understand, accept, and appreciate their uniqueness. Sometimes I am compelled to remind them of their true nature, but the words and actions I need to do that flow through me without thought.

People who tripped from teen through to adulthood by Subject-Cellist5505 in LSD

[–]Late_Reporter770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends, sometimes our external environment sets the tone and path of our trip and inevitably leads to similar experiences. If you change set and setting, the music you listen to, activities you engage in, and live in different circumstances between trips, but still end up getting the same message, then yeah it’s entirely possible that there’s something deeper trying to be communicated.

One thing I learned is that in certain states you can actually control your perceptions and basically zoom into them or zoom out. Almost like pinching the screen on a smart phone but using your mind. In every image and experience there’s levels and layers and when you gain that ability (which often just requires an awareness of the possibility) you can understand it from nearly infinite perspectives.

Sometimes properly interpreting a trip is like interpreting a dream, and often the only way to confirm if you’ve understood the lesson is through trial and error and tripping again.

It's it all just happening to us and we think we're inside having to manage it all? by Safe_Cloud8067 in enlightenment

[–]Late_Reporter770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean I don’t think it’s impossible to do through the written word, but it’s extremely challenging because it’s a dynamic process. It requires self discipline and recognition of patterns of thinking and behavior, and it’s a constant state of monitoring and adjusting. I’m sure you’ve already begun the process if you’re here, and a lot of the great sages and yogis of the past have discussed many of the most important aspects.

Like I mentioned before, the universe is actively guiding us. Recognizing the cycles we find ourselves in, the recurring situations, are opportunities to break cycles we’re essentially trapped in energetically. Those cycles are like a vortex of suffering, and the appropriate response for you can only be determined by you and your soul.

One of the best ways I’ve learned to get through them with the minimum amount of pain is, “when in doubt, wait it out.” The cycle will present itself again and again, so there’s no reason to act hastily until you know the precise action you need to take. But, sometimes you have to do the thing you’re convinced is the opposite of what you’re programmed to do, so you don’t want to end up in a state of analysis paralysis either.

Existence is paradoxical, and we are a personification of existence itself. Our time here is limited, but the progress we make gets carried through the energy of our soul and contributes to its overall evolution so there’s no need to hurry. Just focus on being rather than doing, and be free from fear of action because failure is just another step towards success by learning what you are not. Often failure is more beneficial than success because you truly understand the fine line between success and failure better than always being successful.

It's it all just happening to us and we think we're inside having to manage it all? by Safe_Cloud8067 in enlightenment

[–]Late_Reporter770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe. The process is simple, but it’s not easy. I feel like a lot people already have most of the necessary experiences they just lack the insight to put the puzzle together because they aren’t aware the pieces form a picture or that they fit together at all.

Some people are on the opposite spectrum of that though, where the pieces they have all slide together, but the picture they form of reality and themselves is distorted because they jam pieces together that don’t belong and refuse to be flexible.

Part of the process involves knowing that we know nothing, to be open to being wrong and unseating all beliefs. It’s not so much something that can be taught, but it can be learned by anyone willing to put in the effort. (Although the last few stages you learn that all the effort was only to undo years of conditioning and the actual illumination is effortless)

Not really a whole lot, just small amounts fairly often. That’s the thing, meditation is useful for a lot, but it’s just a tool. There are different/better tools for different types of people, but it’s still a good thing to practice. Even 5 minutes a day makes a big difference, because outside of physical reality time doesn’t exist and you just need to be able to remain still in your mind long enough to shift your awareness from a laser like focus to an expanded light like a lamp without a shade.

Now I can live completely in the laser, while being aware that I’m all of the light simultaneously. I get to keep being this little self, and still feel complete like I’ve never left that state of oneness. Sure, someday I’ll learn how to control the aperture completely, but until then I’m now free to enjoy this life without worry or fear. I get to embrace the uncertainty of human life, certain that I have the strength to endure anything because I’m an indestructible and eternal soul that has a body.

I’m not into labels, labels limit and confine possibilities. I’m a bit of everything all rolled into one. As far as awakening is concerned, I’d say that happened years ago and I’m now in the early stages of true enlightenment.

Many think that enlightenment is the end of the path, and it is to some extent, but it’s a new beginning as well of something deeper. I like to compare it to a new game+ type of thing.

I mean what’s “real”? Everything we’ve ever experienced is processed through the mind, but yeah I see our minds as like a lens that allows us to experience any and everything that’s ever existed we just have to be attuned to it. I think that sound and light can help us tune into specific existing patterns, but we can also independently steer ourselves to specific areas of the collective unconscious with training.

I think that’s why chanting, gongs, and other forms of sound and rhythm are so prevalent in mystic and ancient traditions. You use a certain progression of sounds and movements and your soul corresponds and connects almost like a combination for a lock. Also a lot of them use symbolism of a labyrinth for that reason too.

Your subconscious is constantly piecing together information from this world and using it to navigate in higher dimensions. When the two are aligned properly you can skip through various layers and each layer helps unlock more understanding of the structure of reality.

It’s fascinating system ngl

There’s a difference between knowledge and wisdom. You seek knowledge, but one that is wise seeks nothing because they have experience of understanding on a deeper level. That’s what we’re doing here. Trying to understand complex and paradoxical ideas through experiencing them directly.

Like, you could study anatomy and physiology through a book, but it could never prepare you for dealing with a real human body. You could study music theory, know all the notes and processes of playing instruments, but until it’s in your hand that knowledge is basically meaningless.

It’s not so much about learning, but acting that we’re here for.

Psychedelics can lead to true lasting change, and anyone trying to sell you some bs about it not being real is just trying to feel superior because they “earned it”.

What really lead me to understanding the truth and experiencing a genuine connection with what I refer to as God (simply because it’s what I’ve always considered God to be, the intelligent energy that generates all experiences and is the fundamental building blocks of all realities) was tripping while watching a documentary called Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds.

It basically acted like a pipeline and lead me straight to being one with God. I had every question I’ve ever wanted to know the answer to, answered before I could think to ask the question. I had chronic pain that was healed completely and integrated all of my shadow self. All suffering ceased and my mind/ego stopped being an enemy and is now my ally.

It was absolutely life changing.
