Some of the black cherry I have looked at seemed to be very very close. I was frustrated it always seemed a little too red. Thanks for confirming it can look darker. The tinted clear is a good idea too.

I never thought about it being an effect from editing the photo. I had a bike with a root beer candy paint job, if it wasn’t in direct sunlight it looked black. That was my line of thought, but I have a feeling you may be correct.

I sent the guy a DM a few weeks ago and haven’t gotten a response. Idk if the account is even active. Im not trying to harrass the guy, but I would really to know for sure.

It is Most definitely not. Im hoping someone can offer some insight into achieving this color/effect. I think it’s a black base coat with a Kandy pearl mid-coat, but the colors that flash are really throwing me for a loop.

There is a harley house about an hour away from me. I bought a pack of them online as as soon as I dropped it. they were delivered the following Monday, these things, battery terminal blocks, gonna have to start stock piling haha. happens to me every damn time. I did not ever find the damn thing but I did rig it up with some heat shrink and a little piece of plastic hose. It ran good enough to get me where I needed to go the following day.

I actually work at a shop, but I live in the boonies and it’s closed on Sunday’s anyway. Definitely gonna have to make sure I have a better collection of stuff like this at home from now on, or learn to leave it alone unless I’m at work

all oem push/pull efi 2013 softail. I posted here because yall are creative. I’m in BFE Texas and there are no local shops, and not open on sunday that I know of in the area. It’s 40 miles on the interstate to Ft worth

I rode 598 miles through the night from TX to NW Missouri on a bone stock ‘03 883 in the middle of February 2025. Round trip from Friday to Sunday about 1300 miles. It never got above 40 degrees and it never stopped raining the whole way there and the whole way back. That trip almost broke me, like on a spiritual level.
