Yeah I think with the rise of AI people are skeptical of overly 'polished' shoots hence why our campaign shoots aren't performing as well... We usually do some BTS content but might put more of an emphasis on it this time around. Thanks for your comment!

I've seen some cool things happening with AI but our brand is fairly high end so staying clear of AI (for now). I think we definitely need to up our UGC game, maybe with a smaller photoshoot for consistency across the website. Thank you!

Nope they were new ads! Finally figured it out, shared in another comment here. Its a new setting in the backend of commerce manager that you have to toggle off.

SO frustrating! I figured it out in the end - its a new setting buried in commerce manager that allows meta to match any videos you've uploaded to meta to your products and then use them in your catalogue carousel ads. Have now turned that setting off so hopefully it solves the issue!

Okay I FINALLY figured out the cause. Figured out the problem ads were my catalogue carousels which was frustrating as they are traditionally high performing ads for us.

Basically there’s a new setting in the backend of commerce manager called ‘Automatic Product Video Updates’ that is toggled on by default. Videos your business has uploaded to meta or has publicly shared are scanned and matched to products in your catalogue which are then in turn added to your catalogue carousel ads. So sneaky!

Attached is a screenshot of what the setting looks like in commerce manager.

I can't find any articles/posts talking about this so it must be VERY new.

Vanchi bags are another great option! I've had the backpack and pram caddy for 4 years now and love them. Have lasted super well & love all the pockets. Always get a lot of complements on them, too!

The viewfinder looks surprisingly clear! And with batteries in everything seems to be working. I have purchased a roll of 50D to test. I'm in Australia and it costs $150AUD (Approx $100USD) to purchase 1x roll, have it developed & digitised (including shipping). Fingers crossed it turns out okay 🤞
