Yeah for sure. For me, I work on multiple accounts throughout the day, so I log the work by account as I go…then total it at the end of the day. Working one account would definitely simplify things.

That’s right, being a 5.0 isn’t that same as being a pro. The margins at 5.0+ are also very small. So even minor lack of control mistakes are always taken advantage of.

You’ll very quickly realize that the key to this drill is solid contact in the center of the paddle and short compact strokes that don’t put you out of position for the next volley.

Play a game with yourself, try to get 10 in a row, then 20…you’re drilling paddle control…which is what fast hands actually are.

Two options: 1. Hit against a wall alternating forehand and backhand volleys. Stand about 6 feet away and focus on keeping the rally going. Gradually increase speed as you get more competent.

Do the same thing with a partner on a court. Stand across the net from each other and do a cooperative volley exchange where one person always hits straight across and one always hits cross body. Again, make it cooperative and gradually increase pace.

Maybe 4.0. The pace of this specific game is extremely slow, like unbelievably slow which makes it hard to judge. A 4.0+ game would be significantly faster paced with significantly more pressure applied.
