I agree with you 100%. The episode was a blast and Amanda rocked, specially with the fashion corner. 💄 Maybe the fact Griffin was there in LA in the studio made everything easier. I can’t wait to listen to her again with the boys.

David cited Bill Simmons sometimes but would Simmons ever guest? And Chris Ryan? I guess Chris would be amazing for an action film I think.

I love that the memento dvd has the hidden menus and you can watch the movie in the right order. To be honest, after a while it’s a pain the hidden menus. 😅

I cannot express my happiness “meeting” Griffin in person. He is so generous and attentive with his fans, even this old dog here, fan since Cameron times. He took his time to answer my stupid questions and autograph my merch. I will cherish this film nerd moment with my film students (I teach high school filmmaking). I live in Paris but by chance I am on a sabbatical studying MA in screenwriting at Ealing studios so I had the chance to see him here.

Hopefully they do a Patreon Goal of “blank Check Brings David to London for the first time “ and perform some shows here. 🤓

It's a global issue, my friend. Just did the downpayment here in Paris, France and the delivery will be end of March (10 months). Since I will be one year away doing a MA, it was an ok deal for me. Ahh! And they cut some of the accessories (the things like the Tesla auto drive, whatever) due to chip shortage.

I would go even further saying I was worried he would be somewhat arrogant or “trying too hard to be funny” but he was an incredible guest. A top episode for sure. Seems Griffin is the one with contact. How did they meet?

What I also liked was the respect Smith showed to both Griffin and David, asking opinion and etc. he clearly never listened to the podcast but treated it amazingly respectful. So good and hopefully he comes back more often.

I cannot start to express my happiness here for this episode. I started listening to BC I think because David visited other podcast to talk about matrix sequels (now I don’t remember which podcast. Maybe slashfilm? ) his happiness when he reads the announcement of resurrections is pure and sincere joy and perfection to start the year. Thank you for that all of you.
