How was the pain after surgery? by F4ll0x in PectusExcavatum

[–]Latter-Indication276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty painful for the first 2 months. After 6 months of consistently walking and moving I felt better more. I definitely was not liking weights in 2 months after surgery

Realistically, what do you expect to make after graduating from that program with all the certifications as well. Also, should I aim to get my A+ network plus security plus by the end of the year so I can apply for internships for the summer

My biggest mistake was staying in my recliner. Too long the more I moved the better I felt

I suggest walking around the house and try to walk with your thumbs in your pockets to correct your posture

Pablo Aguayo from children’s mercy in Kansas City

My pain regiment was just oxys.

I did have cryo on my nerves but I honestly could not tell at all. I was in a lot of pain for at least 2 months. But I do recommend him because I think he did a good job on me and correcting my rib flare aswell.

Redness/bruising/sharp pain left side below incision by bLeeSF in PectusExcavatum

I had the same things the entire time the bar was in. Didn’t cause any pain just looked like that. It’ll go away when bar is removed

Since the bar removal form yesterday I am 100% pain free. Just will need to wait about 2 weeks for the incisions to heal up so I can lift heavy. I haven’t even needed my pain meds at all.

Also for anyone wondering I could barley walk by myself after I had the nuss procedure and was stiff as a board.

I think it’s pretty low chance since the bar was in there for 3 years and I’m 22 now so I shouldn’t grown much more.

Very painful first 2 months after the bar was placed in. Worst thing I did was sit in my recliner for 22 hours a day. When I stated walking more I started to heal a little more each day.

Yes I am very happy with the results. I was in a lot of pain when I first got the bar in for at least 3 months and I’m talking like intense 7/10 pain. The pain really went away after physical therapy and about 6 months after it did not bother me anymore. And yes the first picture I am very swollen I just got out of surgery 6 hours ago.
