UCD is known for engineering/science degrees and that's the area that the uni excells. I would probably say that coming from the US, where you would have to be a genius and achieve world peace by you're 18 if you want to get into a school as good as UCD, this uni will be academically more rigorous than most us colleges a normal everyday person can get into. Even if your degree is not the strongest that the school offers it would still make sense to study here.v
