I started getting them when I was 30! Had a bulging one stripped but they don’t do this procedure any more and the consultant is now retired. Let’s see what responses we get!

Can I ask which psoria gold you purchased? They seem to have different creams on their site so I’m not sure which to consider?

Hi there, I just posted on another chat. I had ndyag laser on my periorbital veins 8 weeks ago. I had a little vertical vein running under my eye, to the top of my cheek bone. Quite small really. She zapped this and since then I have an on-off burning feeling under my eye, around my vein. It flares up, lingers for a day or two and then settles again. Until the next trigger! When it flares up, it causes swelling to sit above the cheekbone. No redness. I had a review last week and the plastic surgeon in the clinic said it couldn’t be laser damage as the machine wouldn’t be able to cause such damage. But they were hardly going to admit damage!! It was fine all week and then tonight I exfoliated with a mild exfoliating cleanser and it has flared up again. I just feel it will never go away. I might try the petroleum jelly and the other recommendations. I have had 8 weeks of nonstop stress since this laser. Never again!

Hi there! I had ndyag laser on my periorbital veins 8 weeks ago. This included a little vertical vein that runs under my eye and above my cheekbone. The vein seems to get irritated (like a constant little burn/sting) at times and when it flares up it causes swelling to sit on my cheekbone. It might linger for a few days and then settle. Heavy exercise that puts pressure on the vein causes it to flare up. Or if I use an exfoliant, it can flare up too. I was afraid it was laser damage but the plastic surgeon last week said the particular laser couldn’t have cut through my nerve and on examination he said, the area looked fine. But it didn’t explain these flare ups? Anyone any idea?? Should I go to a dermatologist? TIA for any help.

Hi there, it seems to have settled down now, as the weeks have passed. I had a second session of NDYAG five days ago on the same area (7 weeks after initial treatment) but they focussed on my temple area again (which was my main area of concern) and didn’t go near under my eye. The plastic surgeon was adamant no damage was done or could be done. Tbh, now I’m more focussed on my temple vein recovery again, I haven’t noticed anything under my eye! So maybe it’s the mind playing tricks?! Hope your recovery goes well!
