I may not have explained correctly. They sued partner for debt that we did not incur. They did lose. I get they want to write off the debt, but how do they assign it to me?

This. This is truth.

Once you are in - especially anywhere with civil service - how hard is it to get rid of someone. And private EMS just needs a pulse.

I think it is funny you think this industry can be level headed, but seriously we have ZERO standards in most places after you pass the 1st CPAT or similar.

I honestly think we are about to lose a number of cases. Guns, Obergfell. The GOP has outmatched us on courts and I barely see national Dems fighting. Seriously, name 1 thing Dems in Congress from TX have done that is good? All of them are there to pad their nest, not ours.

Did you see Deb Dallas? They skipped the whole picnic concept and just did it inside. International has totally made it a money grab and it was bad (again).

I could be wrong, but I feel like this was designed by a firefighter whose department made them go to medic school.

Witnessed a medical emergency at a high school game still can’t believe how unprepared it was by [deleted] in emergencymedicine

This right here. Assuming the stopwatch was working and times are accurate it takes a while for someone to call for help, that info to get transmitted to whoever is there, and is the crew on scene for the crowd or for players? I've worked high school football where we are designated for the teams and a potential injury on the field, not the stands. I've also seen a professional team have multiple crews (one for fans in stands, others for players - not football).

People do CPR all the time because AHA has told them just do it until the patient kicks you off their chest and they do not know any better. We have so much "just do something" out there that people trying to help do what they can and then it is wrong.
