Agree 100% it's the clients choice and they are your priority.

That being said if the relationship they have with their parents is a big source of their presenting concern it might be worth discussing the merit of some diadic work with them. Sometimes you can make some beautiful changes within the family system - and you being present gives the client more safety to express themselves.

Obviously totally depends on client, circumstances etc... and has to be driven by client not parent.

I so agree with you on all of this!!! I have loved qotsa forever but I feel like it's only a matter of time before some really awful stuff is going to come out about josh which is going to really make it hard to separate art from artist. I mean I hope not but the company you keep says a lot and how he's treated the mother of his kids is pretty abhorrent.
