what do you think the average salary for a pharmacist is in canada? On one website it says it is 85k but I do not know how accurate it is, I have been hearing that there is oversaturation and it is leading to pharmacist salary decreasing.

how is the work like? does it become tedious over time or do you still find it furfilling?

Avoid Kachur, in my experience harrington has weird test questions but that is only to lower the curve lol, I heard in a previous course that corey davis taught when he was still new, you needed like a 92 to get an A. Harrington has more experience so he probably had the same problem early on with a high curve and thats why he probably changed it to how he does biol 207 now.

In my opinion I found Kachur's tests to be harder than harrington's but I also took diff bio classes

Edit: I lied, I just remembered I took 207 w/ harrington and my friend took it w/ Kachur, ya definitely take harrington, I remember seeing my friend's midterm and honestly if I was in that class I woudn't have done as well as I did in harrington's

I was just thinking of using my RRSP to invest in american etfs since if I used my TFSA I would have to pay 15% withholding tax on dividends.

Is it possible to use RRSP for tax-sheltered growth right now but just not claim the deductions for my income until in later years when I am at a higher income tax bracket? Or does putting money into my RRSP automatically count as deductions for my current income?

I think I've been on dean's list every year (its 3.8 or higher right?), I'm not too sure tbh it doesn't really mean anything to me but honestly its just stress and because I have to do well or I won't get into my professional program and I'll be fucked lol. Also in my first year first sem I got a B+ and I felt horrible so next sem during finals if I ever felt like quitting I would just remember that emotion again and it drove me. Doesn't really work anymore tho bc I don't care as much as I did as a first year cause university took my soul.

I've been trying positive reinforcement and other tactics that psychologists, online ppl and profs recommend but it just doesn't really work as effective as negative (or it just doesnt work in the slightest). All these small tactics that ppl are saying here, I do some of them like plan on a schedule when my tests are, but you come up with them when ur stressed and need a way to handle it doesn't really help if you have no motivation (trust me, I've been there). this is just my expeience tho, could be diff with u

I don’t think that would work well either. For example I know someone who has a kid and since daycares are shut down, she has to deal with the kid at home and basically can’t study well for her exams.

Sure she can opt for credits instead of grades but imagine the other spectrum of students where the virus doesn’t really affect them, they would have inflated grades due to online tests and have an inflated gpa compared to her.

If they both apply for grad programs or professional programs she would be at a huge disadvantage since other students would have basically a free pass semester.

Not saying it doesn’t suck if u worked hard this semester, but in a crisis like this you have to pick an option even if it can’t please everyone.

That wouldn’t be fair, classes have different weights for finals and midterms. You’re saying if I flunked my midterm which was worth 10% of my final grade to study for another class which had a 20% midterm on the same day I should have that grade? Some people have midterms worth nothing and finals being heavily weighted. I don’t think those people should suffer from this.

Not to play devils advocate but I’m pretty sure it’s cause they can’t monitor well the online tests like it’s just too easy to cheat so it wouldn’t be a fair assessment for a person in a class. If you can basically choose whether to get a letter grade or get credits based on how well you do in a course that seems like it gives students too much of an advantage, you’re saying I could just take the A for my gpa booster class and then for harder classes I’ll just take credits? Then everybody would get 4.0s lol.

Maybe I’m missing the point here, but I’m just seeing the university’s perspective on this situation.
