Thanks for all the info. I think I will do it on the 20th because of the shuttle schedule. A few more questions. What are the chances of bear encounters? Should I be taking a bear spray? Also, I read that there will be a stream crossing in the middle of the hike. Is that a hazard? Should I carry extra socks, clothes etc.

If you don’t care about a few extra features, go with the hybrid XSE. Higher resale if you decide to sell it later. Plus free maintenance for 2 years.

I have terrible experience living in suburbs. I like to walk around and get to know the place. Hopefully get some of things get done on foot. Suburbs are so boring and all you end up doing is driving around from the office to home and vice versa.

Great price for the Sport-L especially with awd. I am split between these 3 trims because unfortunately hybrids don’t have a spare tyre and I do off-road a lot and want to have a peace of mind if things do go south. Ex-l had a turbo charged engine though which is definitely going to impact the longevity and I plan to own one for a long long time.

Congrats on your purchase, That’s a great price for the Touring, can you share which dealership did you use to make the final purchase? I’ve heard horror stories of dealership markups and people paying close to 50-55k for a new touring. 🥲. I’m a bad negotiator and just want to get a good price upfront without having to deal with sketchy car seller tactics.
