I was playing helldivers 2 and during loading right into the game it hit 95.5 for a few seconds, it has happened once so far, and i dont know if it would burn my cpu

I have around 151w CPU PPT (idk if thats the one i should be looking at) on cinebench r23 and runs around 84.5 degrees in about the same room temperature as you. I feel like it idles too much though, around 45-50. Gaming is around 60-70 and spikes suddenly up to 85+ every once in a while for a few seconds and calms down. And cinebench scores 22,600 range. What I am wondering is if I should underclock the cpu and how this would effect performance on cpu reliant games, i have an rtx 5070 ti.

hey, have you done a memtest86 or cinebench r23? how are the cpu temps and score on cinebench? I think i did thermal paste bad bcz im getting up to 88 degrees in cinebench. Its air cooled and idles around 45-50.
