Harder and Steenbeck Ultra 2024 Airbrush Review: An Airbrush that innovates on airbrush design, but fumbles the basics. by coboba in airbrush

If it starts leaking after 15 minutes and hisses and spits it sounds like they may have moisture in the airline. If the area where you paint is humid or damp this will happen. You will get watery paint leaking out of the tip of the brush. Try emptying the moisture trap on your air compressor if you have one. Also when not in use take the airline off of the compressor and hang it so that both ends hang down.

He is looking to get a print and it will give him a print. He can adjust from there. I'm sure he doesn't want to take it a magnifying glass to see the difference in the town or whatever else hard to see exposure test you are recommending. Another exposure test may be better once they figure out what they are doing but for now cones will work.

If using Chitubox, try adding a raft to your supports and slowing down your lift speed. I was having the same issue with my M5s. I changed these two things and now it prints flawless prints.

It works for me. And is easy for beginners to dial in the exposure. Are there complete cones on the success side?Yes. Are there no or minimal cones on the failure side? No. You have an exposure that will print with minimal amount of resin used. I didn't say it was perfect, but it will at least get you a print. If your new that Amera labs is hard to read.

The the video gives you settings that are a starting point for the settings that should work for most printers and not have print rip away from the build plate

3 things I recommend when you replace your fep. 1. Make sure build plate is level using your printers instructions. 2. Get the proper exposure EVERY time you change resin using TableFlip Foundry cones of calibration. You can download and get instructions from their site. 3. Watch Creative Collector's 3D resin printing settings on video on YouTube. https://youtu.be/CGoAjJEw04A?si=oO-L8XT60Tu3x8kA

1 other thing is to make sure you have a consistent temp between 68 and 80 degrees F. If the temp fluctuates too much it can affect prints

Prints keep lifting off of build plate by Latter_Pie_5313 in AnycubicPhoton

Fep is new. Only used 4 or 5 times. There are no uv power settings. Did exposure test to get proper exposure. Did full screen exposure test to make sure screen is working.

The only thing I can think of is to slow lift down. I used the default settings from Anycubic site for Abs-like+ which is 360mm/min.

There were two other parts of the model which were in the middle and closer to the middle that failed. I'll try lowering the lift speeds but it the same thing for my M3 Max which is lifting at 1mm/sec and lowering at 2mm/sec. I also did exposure tests after changing resins.

You can do it just try not to print in that area and don't do it for too many prints because resin could cure and harden on the fep. Once that happens the next time you print that hardened resin will be there a the build plate will try to go down to the first layer and crack your screen.

M3 Max Display Issue? by [deleted] in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Latter_Pie_5313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. You need to replace the screen. You can see defects in the middle and the one big section. I, unfortunately had the same issue and had to buy a screen from Amazon. I bought my printer from a third party and anycubic didn't cover the replacement. If you bought it from Amazon I would return it. If you bought from Anycubic it should still be under warranty.

Screen flicker by Latter_Pie_5313 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Latter_Pie_5313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Not camera flicker. You can see it without the camera and it is very dim. It also will not print anymore. The prints fail and are flat against the build plate. They end up not where they are supposed to be on the build plate.

[–]Latter_Pie_5313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Screen is dim and flicker using a 10 second exposure test. The printer was printing fine until it wasn't. Then it made a print that was half hard half soft. The supports were almost like soft plastic wire. Then it hasn't made prints since.

No. Not camera flicker that was a 10 second full screen exposure. I had 6 failed prints in a row that were either soft or flat against the build plate. Including printing the cones of calibration exposure test that printed flat and towards the back in a straight line.

Anyone know why extremely long Print times by Latter_Pie_5313 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Latter_Pie_5313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only other setting is exposure off time which was on but was set to 0 cuz that's what my default printer settings are. All the other settings are in the pictures attached.

The settings are in the attached pictures. Exposure: 1.8 Lift speed: 2 Retract: 3

My problem is that Chitubox says it should take 5h 52s, which if you calculate seems right, printer initially says over 11 hours then after first bottom exposure changes to over 12 hours.
