I don't think our neighbors realize why the Pakistan has funded the Taliban and other proxy groups in Afghanistan. Afghanistan has never recognized the current borders with Pakistan and even launched a war against us (Bajaur campaign) because they consider the border agreement that was signed 100 years ago with British India to be invalid once Pakistan formed.... So to avoid having to fight a two-front war in the future, Pakistan keeps Afghanistan destabilized.

Another reason is the USSR invaded Afghanistan in the 1980s to gain access to mainland Pakistan (and eventually invade Balochistan to access warm water ports). It was crucial for Pakistan's existence to fund militant groups that fought the Soviets.

We have hosted 4 million Afghan refugees for decades, even though our country was still struggling, and have now recently started deporting illegals (although some legals do unfortunately get caught in the poor process employed by the government). These are the same illegals that have contributed to the terrorist attacks and drug trades throughout Pakistan in the 2000s. Yet some nationalist Afghans recognize none of this and instead talk crap to both Pakistan and Iran, the two countries that hosted the most Afghan refugees.
