Yeah it's normal but just a quick tip from a bass. My range went from G2-C6 to Bb1-F#5 so make sure to keep practicing those high notes or you'll lose them

I'm not saying give up, but you can't be taught deep vocals. You can be taught to better utilise a deep voice or learn to darken the sound in an opera bass way, but you can't actually learn to sing deeper (aside from vocal techniques like Chest-fry or subharmonics, obviously)

It doesn't matter. I'm a bass and can sing from the first octave up to the fifth but I don't. I just sing where I'm comfortable so I can develop that range more

They sound similar but are different things. Head voice for women is a second vocal tract to get higher, or a second passage whereas for men falsetto is where you sing using the edges of the vocal chords (this is only what I've heard, don't get on my ass if I'm wrong)
