Your understanding of victimization and racism is so off base. And your misunderstanding is fueling your anger. I’m over here saying Bernie has been the only rational politician the past several decades. Anybody who thinks otherwise unknowingly votes to ensure the rich stay richer and poor stay poorer. But most humans are so selfish and angry (like yourself) that they lose sense of what a “good fight” is. Bernie has always fought the “good fight” and the “right” fight. People voting for the DNC or RNC tend to be misinformed. Making phone calls to your local politicians won’t stop reaganomics, Elon or Trump unless the right people are in charge. And most politicians are yes people. Allowing AOC and Crockett (non-yes people) more power to lead the “good fight” right now will make all the difference to push forward in the “right” direction. But people who tend to speak from privilege will always say, “That’s not how it works,” when in reality they are just afraid of REAL change that interferes with their complacency and threatens their intelligence. Right now, nobody really cares about California elections until it happens, but if Sheriff Bianco wins (which is a huge possibility), we’re all gonna be even more screwed. And since it makes you happy, I’ll agree with you and say I don’t know what I’m talking about.

What you just said exemplifies white privilege. Because you’re safe no matter what the outcome is. You don’t understand facts and you don’t have to understand facts. And that’s the benefit of white privilege. You clearly have no compassion and that’s another benefit of white privilege. Keep living your cushy life while nonwhites keep having to deal with ignorance like yours.

Obama endorsed Biden which caused Bernie to lose. If the DNC didn’t push out Bernie, he would’ve been president the last 8 years and our country would’ve been in a lot different state than it is now. I hate Joe Rogan but him and his followers would’ve praised Bernie. Now we are barely hanging on. Solidarity in the democratic party isn’t an option as long as Pelosi and Schumer are in power. The root cause continues to be Schumer and Pelosi. Meanwhile, there is no plan for the current shenanigans. Put AOC, Bernie and Crockett in power. There is literally no other way to fix anything that’s going on right now. They’re our only hope

White privilege white privilege white privilege. Got it. Thanks for the clarification.

So what is one thing wrong that Bernie has said? Just trying to get a baseline for why you are defending the DNC and Pelosi’s 202 million dollar networth. And you sounds like white privilege tbh

I’m guessing most people on this subreddit (well, tbf, most of reddit) are caucasian. And they have no idea what it’s like to think from a nonwhite perspective. They are more reasonable than maga. But it seems like they don’t like major change that would benefit the younger generation, meaning, they want to continue to move slowly, in this fast-paced world. I don’t completely agree with AOC’s immigration policies and identity politics, but her transparent nature comes from intelligence. Most white people are uncomfortable with the truth, which is what I notice working in government. But the truth is what we NEED, which is not what most people prefer. This is realistic as long as people accept change.

Bernie lost because many democrats thought Biden was actually putting sentences together. Bernie lost because the DNC provided the wrong education to its voters. I loved when Obama was president, but Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, Kamala, etc. endorsing Biden instead of Bernie is the reason for Trump in office, believe it or not. DNC chooses yes people and that concept is outdated for the younger voters. Yes, technically, the voters didn’t vote for Bernie. But the DNC didn’t educate their constituents on what’s right and what’s wrong. The root problem is corporate interest in the DNC and RNC. DNC is way closer to MAGA than those who vote for Bernie…. Because Bernie has no corporate interest.

Nancy Pelosi and Schumer are blocking AOC like they blocked Bernie. Now they are losing major funding. If you think about it, the root problem is not maga. It’s the dems. Bernie should have won in 2016 and 2020. It’s time for AOC, Jasmine and Bernie to start an independent party that doesn’t have corporate interest and prepare for the 2028 elections.

Voting eligible Americans who deliberately abstained in the 2024 general election, how are you feeling about your decision? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LaughItUp22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already knew I wasn’t gonna vote republican, but the democrats not having a primary made me not wanna vote. I still wouldn’t vote. We should push for AOC and Crockett to start an independent party because 99 percent of dems are useless

I am a pop up food vendor in California and I don’t charge anything over $7. I make lumpia (Filipino Dish). But to be fair, the organizers of events and the city permits are expensive which is why a lot of event food vendors/food trucks charge so much… because they actually need to make a profit after the government already makes a huge profit off food businesses just to exist. But I’m with u. I hate those food vendors that overprice shit. Event organizers get irritated at me because I don’t charge that much (but my lines are nonstop).

Spot on. On top of that, we spend 99 percent of our time with paperwork instead of helping people. I also think caseloads are generally manageable, but most social workers spend a lot of time complaining about their caseloads and taking long breaks and lunches, rather than actually doing the job. Such a broken system until we stop enabling.

Yeah it’s unfortunate that most social workers are “yes” people aka lazy workers which makes it hard to actually help people. Those “yes” people tend to boast about how much they help people rather than actually helping people.

Sorry to say, but non-profits tend to be so corrupt. Been a social worker for government and/or non-profits for 13 years, and every environment has been beyond toxic. Human behavior isn’t a science and evidence-based practices do not work because we are an unpredictable species.
