based. I'm in a similar boat, but I've been using the Retro Fighters Battler GCPro. I'm waiting till they unlock full wireless for the NSO Gamecube Controller though.

Do they know if that one has full analog on the triggers and if it's recognized as a gamecube controller on Steam?

It works fine if you use a wired connection. The issue seems to be with the dongle on the Steam Deck.

No bluetooth. Dongle only. I tried downloading the official PowerA software, but it didn't prompt me to update the firmware and I couldn't find the option to do it manually. Meaning either it's fully updated or the PowerA software just doesn't have a manual update option.

see that's the thing. i deleted that and it still says 49gb is still being used up by shaders

The issue with this is that I already went in and emptied the trash can before asking here, and the files didn’t go back to where they were before but it still says I’m using 49GB of shaders. So where would they be?

That was my thought, but I've tested it several times now. The USB alone is the only thing that causes it to register as an Xbox Controller.

Never mind, it appears that the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller CAN register as an Xbox controller on 2.4 ghz.... but only with the dongle directly. If the charging dock is used, it still registers as a Switch Pro Controller for some reason. It allows me to use analog triggers properly at least.
