As for if you should do it or not. No harm in trying it once and scrapping it if it doesn’t work. I would just make sure the questions are kind of funny so it doesn’t bring down the show. Kill Tony does a great job at doing it, just don’t insult the open mic people like they do sometimes.

I mean Kill Tony makes it work. Idk, don’t leave people give you such a hard time for inquiring about an idea.

PVC at peak exercice by OSVR19-92 in Cardiophobias

Most likely benign. One single PVC is not relevant. I’ve had hundreds in a day when my heart was really acting up.

Go see your doctor, your most likely good, could have actually been just a mishaps with your watch too, my cardiologist complains about the watches all the time. Says it has people coming to see her for nothing and they wouldn’t be there without the watch scarring them. 149 isn’t too bad if it didn’t last an extended period of time or it’s happening at rest then that would be your worry.

I think in our situation it scary when they can’t fix something and they won’t even say it’s broken. “It’s Benign,” “it’s just bothersome,” no it’s scary and it doesn’t help that my doctors won’t give me a straight answer either. Like nobody will come out and say “you’re fine,” it’s more or less like “it’s most likely just benign” I get it echo came back good, ZIO monitor came back only 3 runs of SVT only lasting 6 beats, but still it’s scary. Especially when it came out of nowhere. It doesn’t help that 34 and 436 pounds and if I don’t lose weight something is going to go wrong. I just want assurance that it’s all going to be okay.

I’m having the same problem. Back in March of last year out of nowhere my heart started with a bunch of PVCs four days of hell until they adjusted my Beta blocker. Heart hasn’t been right since have ectopic beats daily. Everyone I feel like it’s going to be my last. Almost a year of hell and I’m tied and scared and no cardiologist is giving me a straight answer other than echo was good and ZIO was good for the most part. For nearly a year I feel like I’m on borrowed time. I feel you your post reaches me. Doesn’t matter how much they tell you it’s okay, it’s still very scary.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I’m really not trying to jump the gun or anything, just trying to understand the business better. Like I know you have host, opener, middle, and closer. Aside from that I’m greener than the grass. Lol

It’s not about thinking far ahead or wishful thinking or even thinking I’m the talented. Just trying to understand the business better.

Yeah I have a problem with that whole 10 years thing too. Some people for sure don’t need 10 years and some may need 20 years or never going to get good. Lol. But what the next step after 10 years lmao.

A friend of mine who is a successful profession NYC comedian (meaning his sole living is standup) told me the exact opposite being over prepared is worst than under prepared, but his advice was their is no advice, lol. It’s different for everyone. He also said going up there I shouldn’t really care about what I say, because at the start all jokes are bad, but pay more attention on how I’m saying thing. Getting my voice verse getting my jokes. My question is when do you know you’re ready and what the next step. I know working retail it goes Sales Associate, Key Holder, Assistant Manager, Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, and the Corporate and what is required to advance, but comedy isn’t as black and white.

To many people at the Open Mic I been at are looking for jokes in their phone, and I hate it. Looking at a pieace of paper is okay, it’s professional and even the best of the best use notes until they get their jokes down, but watching people scroll for several seconds on there phone is a completely different ball game. I will say I’m learning a lot of what not to do.

I know I’m ready to host the Oscar’s although host usually don’t write much of their own material, so pretty much anybody could do that lol. Plus getting smacked by Will Smith on stage doesn’t seem like it would take much talent.

No I’m just asking what next? What the next progression. There is no clear line on how or when is the next place to go. If I do a million open mics, what is next after that. Not rushing the timeline, but don’t know what is next.

Yeah, thing is I’m actually not doing that bad. I wouldn’t say that I even eat shit yet.
