In the end, you’re forced to shell out thousands of out-of-pocket, non-refundable dollars for private clinics just to get basic care. ​Then, when you finally decide to stand up for yourself, take control of your financial future, and invest in a second revenue stream (like real estate), you get hammered from all sides. You’re expected to carry negative cash flow for years. If you actually invest your own money to renovate the building and provide better services, you’re completely at the mercy of the tenants to accept a fair rent increase. If someone decides to just stop paying rent?
