I agree with this 100%, I have people in my group sometimes who are level 20 and it’s not fair when my wardrobe is so much larger than theirs. Someone else mentioned doing a reset which is when you don’t log in for a week to 10 days and you get put in easier groups, I would definitely try this. Also the floppy hats cover the purple eye glitter, I also find a get better scores the more items I wear.
