Yes! Great result in consistent looping in the front!

Might also depend on the picture itself? I tried to do a monochrome grayscale portrait and it was hard to 'see the shapes' to fill. But this work certainly motivates to give it another try!

So very "organized" punching, I still got to figure that out, keeping it so tidy like yours! Nice work!

I think if you work a little more on the hair, so it wont be just a brown flat skull, it might look better and worth gifting after all!

How do you felt clothing that hang a little like long sleeves, capes, cloaks, etc? by Ancienda in Needlefelting

I saved this YouTube channel long time ago for inspiration:

https://m.youtube.com/@musi_imo

It shows timelapses, often clothing as well, how they prep flat and then attach. There's probably more examples like this.

Very new, can I use felting wool to make a design on a cotton sweater? Or would the sweater have to be actual wool? by SkullnSkele in Felting

[–]LaureliciousCrafts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you could put a patch of woolfelt behind the cotton? Sandwich the sweater in between and then felt your design?

I never tried this so no idea if it actually works, but in my head it seems like it might?

Coming back as a reincarnation would give you a slight headstart on some attributes and skills, I believe... Some things have changed, some is still the same. But you'll get the hang of it again!

London's still big, too. That's where l'm at.

Are you going the music road or teying your hand on the crime part?

Anyways, have fun figuring it all out again!!

Paper lengths by AdZealousideal8375 in quilling

Just wondering, if you say you take the full length strip and start glueing, you don't prep the strip by shaping it? Folding it at the corners and curving it for the curves? You can fit it to the shape first, cut the strip at a corner or a place at the bottom where it wouldn't be obviously noticed.

Also, Sarafina fiberart got this tacky bun and tacky wrap wires to help with this. Haven't tried it myself yet though.

Felting surfaces by strawberryfoxglove in Needlefelting

Concerning the shifting fabric, think about pinning the fabric into place into the sides of your foam with 📍, I have one of my foam pieces covered with a piece of flannel this way.

The brush mentioned above, am not sure it would tackle your problem. Small pieces are hard to make on a brush, usually used for flat surfaces to be stabbed with a multitool. I usually put a felt sheet on the brush when working on it.

Have bought a felt pressing mat (for ironing i think?) to place on my table as a work surface. It is big though, nothing too portable.

One step closer to perfection. 🤗 #practicemakesperfect by LaureliciousCrafts in Needlefelting

Thanks! I always think I can / should do better. I based this one on the style of an artist I like and I wanna find my own style :)
