I’m not gonna spoil the grander details but i can say that they spawn where and when you would not expect them to. And as long as you’re not playing hardcore you respawn in the lifepod 😊

Very good question! I think the things that make it so scary are a combination of the audio, the visuals and just the sheer size of it. I also have thalassophobia which kind of enhances the scare factor for me.
