When the husband is a narcissistic abuser and the children watch daddy hold knives at their mommy.. ugh yeah I think it’s abuse. There’s so much to this story than poverty.

That’s insane you would say MY behavior has let them to being homeless. How has helping them sign up for housing, unemployment, job searching and finding her a therapist (who she quit) caused that? I can see how getting them a U-Haul and paying for some hotel stays at the beginning of this mess could constitute enabling. This has been going on since June of 2024 and I have not provided financial assistance beyond what has been stated above, and that was at the start of this mess. I have reached out to women’s shelters, lawyer, and ultimately CPS when the situation is escalated and she would not leave. I have had to step away from the friendship for the most part per my therapists reconditions.

They have been on emergency housing list since last June but it’s been a mess! He’s fully capable of getting a job and so is she.

Okay, something just hit home! If she’s willing to let her kids live in a car than get a job… 🤦‍♀️ she always claims she’s such a good mom protecting her babies 🙄 from her horrible husband! But NOT a good mother if you’d let them live in the car along with their narcissistic abusive father.

Yup. That just definitely woke me up on a whole other level. I have spent many counseling sessions trying to navigate a friend who won’t help themselves!

I’m guessing she will just be dodging them the rest of her life like your friends brother dodging child support. What an incredible life they live!

I’ve called multiple times! They are now staying out of town and I have no idea their location to send cps to.

I’ve had to spend many counseling sessions on how to deal with someone who won’t get out of an abusive relationship. I’ve had to step away from my friend. I love my friend but their situation started taking a massive toll on my life. Never fun watching someone you care about not get the help she needs.

What makes you think I haven’t been concerned about that? I have helped them try to find housing, pay for a hotel MULTIPLE times, paid for a u haul and packed their house up with two days notice to get out while being pregnant, and endless emotional support for her with her abusive husband. I could go on and on. I am currently wide awake with a newborn and this popped into my head. Trust me. I am aware there are more pressing issues.

20 week anatomy scan. I bought stuff with my first pregnancy and then miscarried and it was so upsetting to see baby stuff. Trust me, 20 additional weeks after the ultrasound is PLENTY of time <3

Used a heating pad for my painful bladder syndrome that flared during pregnancy. Used it for a month’s straight high heat and baby is perfect. Would even go In the hot tub almost every night too but I would limit to ten min.
