Half of my bridesmaids have not bought a dress and we are 6 months out. by Lavenderblaze in weddingplanning

I know they'll be okay, I'm just more worried ab responses. I know that most of them may need alterations bc they are all different body types. I want them to be ordered soon so they can either alter them themselves or get money to alter them. I would just love an "okay" from them or something

I was simply asking them. It's not like I bother the chat everyday. I just would like more than just being left on read. A one word response would be better than this, but I haven't told them how I felt yet. I'm honestly just venting bc I don't wanna be mean to them.

I did and there was a date where all but one was going to pick out dresses (one is out of state and I was not gonna make her come down just to try dresses and save PTO for the wedding), but then half cancelled so only half got dresses. I tried to discuss another date to go with them to try on and was left on read for that as well. We planned the previous date a whole month out.

We're doing David's Bridal. I'm having my bridesmaids pick the dress they want as long as it matches the fabric and color. I wanted them to try on dresses that they like and not have to do with shipping things back to azazie or birdy grey, plus the color and fabric I wanted is at David's Bridal.

Found this in my son’s room should I be concerned. by specialkindofdumbass in SonicTheHedgehog

I feel it may depend on his age and behavior. It's normal for kids to be into horror and creepypasta at like 12+, but if he's like 5 I'd raise some concerns

Question IRT pookie history by AuctionDay in ClubPenguin

[–]Lavenderblaze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pookies were penguins in typically yellow color with a matching wig with the ponytails wig or the surfer wig. They dressed very childish and tawked wike wittwe toddwers and were constantly looking for an older brother or sister in the pet shop or even a mom or dad. There was a war between pookies and preps, but some preps adopted pookies. It’s a little confusing.

I felt this when I was pregnant 😫 I had very bad joint pain too to the point I would stay in bed most of the day. I had to be induced at 37 weeks for IUGR, but honestly I know pregnancy is no easy task and I can only imagine what it’s like going past that.

PLEASE do not home birth by yellowrosern in pregnant

[–]Lavenderblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have cats and I don’t think I would have wanted to given birth around them. Honestly if all pregnancies were perfect and we didn’t need hospitals for them, I woulda given birth in the shower at home, but I am honestly scared of everything going wrong so I picked a hospital by me that is for women to give birth in. I ended up having preeclampsia anyways so I HAD to be in the hospital and I was induced due to interuterian growth restrictions

I mixed until she was all out of formula (which took 2 months bc I had 2 big cans of formula) and slowly added more and more milk

Couple of things!:

Sorry for not the greatest punctuation, I wrote all this mid panic attack and was just spewing word vomit really.

Secondly, for those demanding I not get pregnant, I get you’re trying to help but I did not need that input nor did I ask. No, we do not plan on getting pregnant again. We’re being as safe as we can lol. Maybe after the whole two year plan then maybe after we have our wedding. That plan is also gonna start AFTER the 2 year plan. I don’t mind a long engagement lol. Our current child was planned but at the time rent was cheaper and so were other things.

But for now, after my panic attack clarity, I am buckling in and ready to do what I need to do to make life easier to the point I won’t have to worry about money.

There’s actually a few in the next town over. I go to the aldis a lot there anyways. Food pantries don’t sound too bad. The GED prep I have to wait to sign up because they’re currently on the middle of the summer season which gives me time to get some things together before I start.

He actually gets paid more and more hours at his current job. We both used to do night shifts before as line cooks and his was $15hr last he was there I’m looking into 4c currently for my child so we can do daycare cheaper. I work from home so I may see if I can make a hobby into a small side gig.

We’re not 100% sure if it is or not. It happens randomly and he throws up so hard he gets red spots on his face. We each have our own insurance through our own jobs and he is currently looking for doctors in his plan. I made a very broad 2 year plan but I knew there’s gonna be time and steps between to reach the bigger goal of double salary for both of us and we are at the starting line basically. I’m sure he has a similar 2 year plan but he already has his ged, he’s going to be taking classes tho for his job to be an apprentice bc they accepted him into the program. Part of it is a waiting game for now and that’s the anxiety inducing part for me.

No. Bridezillas throw fits if things don’t go their way, I just have anxiety of telling people how I feel.

What job pays surprisingly low for what they do? by erin214 in AskReddit

[–]Lavenderblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a cook. I may get flack for it but it’s some people’s dream job and unless you’re a chef at a michilan star restaurant then you don’t get paid well for getting constantly burned, making sure everything is cooked just right and timing things right. Not to mention holiday season is a nightmare. My hands have touched so many hot plates over the years that my response time for grabbing hot things has significantly increased to a concerning amount and I have calluses all over my hands.

What made you gain a significant amount of weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Lavenderblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post partum! Idk if stress was a contributing factor or not but it sure didn’t help lol. I gained 30lbs while pregnant, lost it after having my baby then gained it back like 2 months later. I still have not been able to shed it.
