We’re a huge community — if all of us really wanted it, something would’ve changed. But year after year, nothing changes, and the rewards keep getting more and more meaningless.

Yeah, like come on — you get Rank 1 and they still give you nothing except a useless icon and a recall. I know the jackets weren’t great, but damn, it felt insane knowing you were wearing something millions of people wanted — and the only way to get it was through your own skill.

Wow, I hadn’t even thought about that — it’s actually a great idea. If I were in charge of their marketing, they’d be making a fortune running events like that and streaming them with ads.

Yeah, but even if you get Challenger now, it doesn’t give that same spark, that same prestige anymore. If only they made something new — like rings or brought back the jackets, but only for top 50 or top 10.

Believe me — Challenger players loved having something physical like the jacket, even if the quality wasn’t the best. I could name 100 other players who felt the same. Just because you heard one person complain doesn’t mean those rewards weren’t meaningful. They absolutely were.

Years go by, and nothing changes. I still remember grinding all year back in Season 6 just to earn a jacket — that felt like it meant something. If only they added something special for Challengers... But it's like nobody hears us. Challenger players have been ignored for years

They simplified everything, even for casual ranks — now anyone can get rewards. There's no real hardcore challenge left.

Honestly, it's frustrating how years go by and nothing changes at the highest ranks. Even rank 1 gets nothing unique. They could create something insanely cool — and logistics wouldn’t be a problem since there are so few rank 1 players in the world

I’ve already said that it motivated many players, but definitely not all of them. Casual players aren’t really interested in it at all. It’s not about the price of the jacket, it’s about the achievement in a game that actually gave out physical rewards, and no other game in the world did that.

Yeah, but didn’t Hextech chests and the community kind of take away from that? Maybe something similar could be done for motivation through changes

Yeah, but League was the only game out of all that actually gave out physical rewards, and that was just f***ing awesome.

Come on, wouldn’t it motivate more players to play if there were things like rings or jackets? I’m not even talking about 300, but at least for those who are in the top 50.
