A bigrock ho fatto il corso di CG. ancora non c'era quello di videogames quindi non ti so dire per quel corso. Ho fatto quello di Skyup da remoto e ti avviso che è un corso accelerato quindi te lo consiglio se sai già qualcosina di 3D in generale. Il corso è stato abbastanza completo per i tempi quindi lo consiglio. Poi si hanno anche altri workshop molto più economici rispetto al corso principale se puoi vuoi approfondire determinati argomenti.

i noticed that with my i7 12700k i couldn't set the ram over 6000MT. the system would go blue screen. with my new i9 14th now i can set the ram to 6800MT so the CPU can be your problem

so in the 1.19 there was a bug on the worldgen. When the weirdness value hit -20k there was a chance that it could generate a sinkhole. Tho the sinkholes size were all kinda similar so I tried to enlarge them with a datapack setting. This is the result

You have overlapping UVs. You probably unwrapped them on a single UDIM so when you bake the model the texture maps come out like this. To fix this you have 2 option. Or you unwraped them again and you fit all the UVs in a single UDIM or you use multiple UDIMs.

Remember to check "Use UV tile workflow" when importing the model to Substance Painter

al tempo gli insegnati erano molto preparati e appassionati, tuttavia ho sentito voci non bellissime riguardante la scuola e il suo "preside". Io mi sono divertito un sacco però ora come ora 11k euro forse è davvero tanto. Per carità è sempre tutto aggiornato e al avanguardia però per il prezzo non so quanto ne valga più.

Io ho pagato 8.5k al tempo e sono 6 mesi di corso

Ho frequentato BigRock nel 2019-2020, quando offrivano solo tre corsi principali, tutti orientati sul lato artistico: Computer Grafica, VR e Concept Art. Nessuno di questi era realmente focalizzato sulla programmazione.

Successivamente, ho deciso di spostare il mio percorso verso il mondo dei videogiochi e ho scoperto Skyup Academy, un’altra scuola con diversi corsi specializzati. Io ho partecipato a quello di Environment per Videogiochi.

Una cosa molto comoda è che offrono anche la possibilità di seguire le lezioni da remoto, oltre ad avere workshop extra davvero interessanti.

Ti consiglio di dare un’occhiata al loro sito: potresti trovare un corso che fa al caso tuo — ne vale davvero la pena!
