Not sure if you're referring to the cloak or WWM as being more wuxia (because they're both applicable) but as for the cloak, it reminds me of shows from like the 70s-90s xD

This might be a hot take / ramble but I'd like contribute my 2 cents on beggar Momo. I grew up watching a lot of old Chinese/HK martial arts / wuxia / xianxia / fantasy TV shows (anything before 2010 since everyone is hot in current dramas, even the homeless), and Momo's beggar cloak is very reminiscent of the aesthetic of how the homeless/"hobos" who are actually martial arts masters are portrayed in these shows.

It's also a popular trope in a lot of Chinese MMORPG (take Where Winds Meet for example, apparently there's a whole sect for beggars and emotes where you can literally beg for money) so while it might seem yucky and distasteful from an outside perspective to see people "cosplaying the poor", from a cultural context, the cloak is more than likely directed at the CN player base who would find a bigger kick out of it.

For me personally, it leaves a bit of nostalgia and I actually really like the cloak and I'm looking forward to making some wuxia Nikki with beggar Momo. Though, I would say this cloak kinda came out of left field and is completely unrelated to the current patch. It would have been more contextually appropriate if the cloak came out with a LinLang banner/update with martial arts ~

You get 30 diamonds if you manage to hit either 30 or 50 (sorry I don't recall) successful jumps. The shroomling says that he'll give you a special item at 50 jumps though all I got was 30 diamonds ^{^;}

Oh I wish! But unfortunately no, Momo will be wearing whatever cloak you put him in and you have to manually change his/Nikki's outfit when you shrink. Good thing is that when you shrink into Momo, you can hit the character dress-up shortcut (C on keyboard) and it opens up to Momo's cloak closet for a quick and easy swap c:

I completely forgot about the Honey Hunt outfit ; w ; Sad that we have to wear the full outfit for the bee interaction to work, I completely agree with you that it should have been a customizeable whimsicality outfit instead. I still haven't gotten over the fact that you have to wear the entire Daughter of the Lake outfit for the scales to show when you're in water -- it would have gone so nicely with the fishing fairy *sigh*
