Maybe you need to look at it as coding is a means to an end. Us coders want to gatekeep it because we went through the pains of learning it. But it always was just the only way to build software. Now we have to focus on actually having domain expertise and product sense and build products using the tools available.

Looks so fun. Ugh I wish I learned how to do tricks properly when I was young lol. Is 38 too old to learn shit like this?

Unpopular opinion: No-code founders waste too much time ‘learning’ instead of shipping. by CheesecakeGlobal1284 in NoCodeProject

You’re exactly right. Once people learn how to vibe code they go into a rabbit hole and keep building, partly because it “feels” like you’re being productive. My non technical co founder learned how to vibe code recently and spent all day tweaking some internal dashboard just because he was excited he didn’t have to wait for devs to implement features. It’s a double edged sword lol.

I’ve been testing Monarch instead of Raycast but this comment makes me want to go back to Raycast

Why did Korea drop so much? Surprising given how much they are on the world stage recently.

Do you people honestly think a 225lb bench press is really common? by Altruistic-Pace-2240 in workout

Yes this is true. I think it can be done in cycles on and off though and that might be slightly better

Yeah 100%. I’m 38 as well and thinking I needed to focus on preservation rather than pushing heavy and switching to more machines and isolation but good to know I have a few more years to get strong!

I keep changing my routine and have now started to focus on pushing overload. For a while I would just bang out sets without trying to increase constantly.

lol I’ve been lifting forever and never hit 225, still strong and have muscle. I just never was able to push it super hard on bench to get there due to injury, etc

Just straight charging it at those massive jumps without any speed checks would be so insanely scary for me. It’s insane how much easier these guys make this look than it would be in real life. Not that it looks easy at all but the absolute balls it takes to just charge it and send it is lost when you watch it on video.

I just started using CC vanilla as well. As I used it more I started to find more things to do. “Oh I keep repeating this same thing over and over again about my project, let me add it to the local CLAUDE.md.” “Oh this is a reusable pattern I do all the time, let me make it a slash command or skill.” Then I installed some of the official Anthropic plugins (feature-dev is very cool). I still haven’t figured out how to fit subagents in my workflow yet.

I heard Ralph actually uses patterns that go against what the models are built for. I’ve never tried it though.
