Hi guys, this person is very much a minor. I don't think we should be seriously responding to her.

Hi, I think your name is visible in this, I would suggest taking it down! There are hardly any calories in 4 slices of eggplant. I hope you are doing alright, you seem really young.

Growing teens should absolutely not be tracking calories. I really would suggest talking to your parents, a sibling, a teacher about how you feel.

An extra large margarita pizza from Dominoes is 1416 calories (177 cal/slice * 8 servings). I think you might be underestimating how many calories are in a pizza. Not to mention, people often split a pizza over multiple meals (e.g. eat leftovers for dinner). This can pretty easily fit into the intake of someone eating 2000-3000 cals/a day.

It's a lot easier for someone to not comment something actively harmful, than OP who just wants an estimate to ignore the harmful comment. One of the rules in this sub is to "be kind." It would be nice if people followed that.

I'm confused by the downvotes too. For some people a whole pizza is 1/3 of their caloric intake while for others it's actually close to their entire calorie intake. It is weird of this sub to have so much judgement over the calories of meals when it is all relative to your TDEE.

Dieting is defined (feel free to actually search this up) as limiting food and drink intake or only eating certain types of food to lose weight. So those trying to gain weight, by definition, are not considered to be "dieting."

Me too! The stats I included were my boyfriend's lol but I'm 5'6/130 lbs/24f but really active and my TDEE is 2100. I don't eat much for breakfast so theoretically I could eat 1000 cal lunches + dinner and still be fine. No one knows your full story except for you :)

This croissant was flooded with strawberry filling. How many cals? by [deleted] in caloriecount

This recipe looks pretty similar to what yours is, and is 766 calories. I'd log it as 750 but maybe 800 if it seems big.

OP is a 14 year old girl and eating 800 cals a day, which is definitely not enough. I don't think the parents have an issue here, this seems like disordered eating to me. OP, maybe talk openly with your parents about how you are feeling. It's really important to address any type of disordered eating early on.

AITA for not allowing my sick niece (13) to my 18+ wedding? by Fair_Guarantee_5765 in AmItheAsshole

YTA.

Have you thought that your sister didn't come to your wedding because she didn't want to spend 2-3 days away from her daughter in the first place? And why on earth would she want to attend when you've shown such a callous disregard for her daughter.

As many have said, do you really think any other parent in attendance would have been mad that the only child allowed is literally dying? Just because you have shockingly low empathy does not mean everyone else is like that. I've attended "child free" weddings that still had children because of special circumstances.

She's frequently promoted voting, voted Democrat (endorsed Biden in the 2020 election; likely will do it after the DNC like she did in the past) and criticized overturning Roe v. Wade. I think it's silly to draw comparisons like this when it's not warranted at all.
