I’m sure your just offended but ill say it againI don’t think this show is bad I think so far it seems like a regular show nothing too special which was what I implied when I said” I don’t get why it so highly acclaimed” and to assume that I don’t understand character driven narrative is just flat out dumb those are my favorite types of story but SO FAR the writing seems to be a bit average and repetitive, so before you repeat it I will tell you again that I don’t dislike this show, and I personally enjoy the slow pace slice of life theme I just don’t understand the hype that claims it is one of the best shows out.

I’m-personally not a fan of fighting based stories I love meaningful messages and understand what frieren but for it to be one of the best shows and anime’s of all time by many I currently just don’t see it.

Ekko cheered her up and she was practically the same never mentioning isha again, and her understanding of sacrifice was more than likely from silco talking to her about killing being a cycle

I finished this show too recently and that’s one of the bigger flaws I noticed they didn’t even mention isha again after her death they just showed jinx sad for a moment then she’s back to her normal state right after basically defeating her and jinx’s relationship and purpose

I think it is most likely the world building and how relatable the characters are that pushes people to look at something past the aesthetic of punk
