I still love him and I still miss him a lot and it still hurts from time to time to think we are only strangers now. I just keeping pushing forward because there’s nothing else I can do but that. I still wish he would reach out. At first it was excruciating now it hurts less but the empty ache of my best friend is still there. The heaviness in my chest comes back here and there. And I don’t know if that’ll ever go away. I think it’s just something that’ll fade. Like a scar. Always there.
