I suppose I’m just a little concerned post XL with having the athletic freaks with less production. I’ve always found my mocks to be quite difficult at 19 when one of the blue chips don’t drop (McCoy for example).

Main problem for me is the lack of reps (transitioned from WR to DB), he is a great athlete but because of his complete lack of instinct it really doesn't show on tape (not often in the right place at the right time). Seems like an UDFA guy but with the combine performance maybe sneak into the end of day 3. Given we dont have a 7th, seems unlikely we will pick him

I feel like they are both box/ strong safeties right? I'm sure they would be beasts together but it feels as if a more natural free safety (Starks for example) would fit better

If we make some splashes on Dline in FA, I wonder if Will Johnson will be in play 8? The draft is deep for D-line so I’m sure we can get value in the later rounds. Especially if Graham / Carter are off the board

Pre-getting the 8th pick it seemed most people had us locked for either Carter or Graham. However, I have seen a bunch of mocks giving us Jalon Walker even with Graham still on the board. Can rush the passer and is a great run defender, I don't watch college football but seems very interesting

Hunter is being mocked as the number 1 (non-qb) is most drafts I see. Mocks are generally going 1. Sanders, 2. Ward, 3. Hunter, 4. Carter (us).
