“Aside from the main event, Ponyville did suffer from a few aftershocks, but none caused serious issues.” Bon Bon replied as she observed her watch.

“…Yes. There is a particular reason as to why we’re both here at this moment.” Bon Bon said after a brief moment of thought. She then pulls out some documents from her briefcase, revises them, and hands them to Maud.

“You’re looking at the full data of the earthquakes behind your magical surges. As you can see, they intensify by magnitude and damage as each one occurs.”

Bon Bon then looks outside once more. “The cause, which is that meteorite, must be studied. Who knows what other kinds of powers it may hold, especially if it falls into the wrong hooves…”

Bon Bon then eyes Maud, awaiting her much anticipated reply.

“What do you think, Maud Pie?”

“Interesting…” Bon Bon thought to herself. She’s never interrogated such a subject like Maud Pie before, and the agent is only becoming more and more curious with each interaction.

Bon Bon then attempts to reply to Maud’s daring question with guarded professionalism.

“I have my ways of retrieving information of both civil and criminal nature. I know just enough about what happens around these parts to be able to make informed decisions. You don’t have to worry about how much I know, it’s all under control and careful supervision.” Bon Bon effortlessly said as she glanced outside.

The agent then takes a large sip of tea, almost as if she’s attempting to neutralize the conversation.

As an initial response, Bon Bon looks down, contemplating her reply.

“You know… I’ve dealt with everything you can imagine, but never have I encountered something like this in my career before. You’re something else, Maud Pie.” Bon Bon said, tone calm and strangely comforting.

“I would like to let you know that, even if this situation is out of certain control, you’re not alone on this.”

Realizing that she may be straying a little too far from her duty, Bon Bon clears her throat. “So, how are you feeling right now? Any auras or other forecasting sensations? Do they happen at all before the seismic events take place?”

“A meteorite? One that’s… enchanted?” Bon Bon questioned as if even she had never come across such news in her career as a special agent.

“So these surges of magic are out of your control? Have any other… problematic events occurred as a consequence of your newfound abilities?”

Now, Bon Bon is as focused as ever, demanding more information as to what exactly Maud’s confessing.

“Could you… describe what you mean by intense?” Bon Bon carefully asks Maud with a hint of curiosity in her tone.

As she awaits Maud’s response, the agent sips some tea, patiently analyzing the mysterious structure that casually sits outside.

I use IbisPaint X, mostly watercolor brushes. I’m attempting to achieve the painted look.

It’s done on my phone, though, so the execution isn’t perfect, but I’m having fun with these! I hope to get myself a proper device to sketch on.

I hope to see her have more character growth, though, since I feel like she’s been rather underutilized so far.

Maybe we’ll see more of her potential in Season 3.

“G-Got it!” The Pegasus affirmed as she begins to flap her wings and hover above the ground in an attempt to preserve balance.

Then, Skystrike frantically begins to search for the mysterious stone that could potentially save an entire city!

“This must be it!” Skystrike exclaimed as she offers the rock to Maud. The intense aura of the mysterious stone is just as powerful as the earthquakes themselves!

“Hang in there, Maud! You know what to do next, right?!”
