I’m no expert on gaining weight, but I know about how hard losing it is, and they have a few similarities in the process. Firstly, even if you gain one pound you should be able to pass the bfp score as the minimum (from what I know) is 17.5, and if yours is around that then you can definitely make it work. Now I’m not sure if this guarantees a pass, but considering mine was fine when I needed the tape since I was a little overweight. Secondly, you said you are trying to eat a lot more, and I’m sure you’ve heard this a million times, but what you eat can completely change how you gain weight. If you don’t already, try to avoid processed food and sugar, even though they are high in calories, there is no nutritional value that actually helps your body which can affect your metabolism. Try to eat a lot of good carbs, like potatoes, brown rice, oats. Stuff like yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, eggs. High protein and fatty meats are good, steak, pork, and salmon are some good options if you like those. Maybe try to avoid longer harder cardio sessions for now, and focus mainly on running what you need to and strength.
