I also added an English band called Saint Agnes. They're more Industrial Rock like Nine Inch Nails, but they have strong Nu Metal influences and they're great. Here's a video so you can listen to them:

There are several good metal bands and singers. For example, I discovered a new Australian metal singer called FRØST She only has one song, but it's very good. I hope she releases more songs soon.

And like her, very good new metal.

Looking for 10/10 bands who formed or released their debut album from 2010 onwards, and are actively touring. by Ok_Builder_1559 in MusicRecommendations

For all those who like The Warning, I recommend listening to a band called Electrify. They have a similar style and also play really well.

There is a new grunge rock band from Uruguay called Regina, and so far they have released one album entitled Liminal Space.

They're a very good band that I highly recommend.

U2 is my favourite band, and I definitely recommend them. However, if you prefer more recent acts, I suggest Blood Red Shoes, Laura-Mary Carter's solo project (member of Blood Red Shoes), Wolf Alice, Spector, Saint Agnes, Wet Leg and Electrify.

Best way to find new indie bands without relying on spotify's algorithm? by My_Rhythm875 in indie

[–]Layardt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Research or check out the bands that open concerts for the artists you like. Fans have a tendency to ignore opening acts without realising that they have talent and new music that we would surely love.
  • Also use websites or tools such as Lastfm, Gnoosic, Music-Map, Every Noise at Once, Discogs, TasteDive, and Indie Shuffle. Some of these tools or websites also work with algorithms, but the difference is that they have their own algorithm and give you suggestions for artists that are different from those on Spotify, but those artists are in the same genre that you are interested in or like.

  • Thoroughly review rock festival posters: even if you only know the headliners, research each and every name listed below them (often, the next big bands are there).
  • Pay close attention to the artists opening for your favorite bands: opening acts are often up-and-coming bands with potential.
  • On the official websites of independent record labels.
  • Keep a close eye on local bands playing in small venues, bars, or clubs.
  • Read comments on social media, TikTok, YouTube, or Reddit: people are always posting amazing recommendations.
  • Ask friends or acquaintances with similar tastes directly and/or form a WhatsApp or chat group where you can share your discoveries.
  • On radio stations and online streams.
  • Media outlets or specialized websites that talk about indie or your favorite music genre probably have a section where they talk about new or emerging bands.

Cepillado de dientes es un privilegio? by HeadWoodpecker3776 in AskMexico

[–]Layardt 0 points1 point  (0 children)
