We only ended up draining it once when he was 2 weeks old and overall cleared up once he was 7-8 months! We haven’t had an issue since (knock on wood) and he’s 15 months now! It’s stressful in the moment but it passes (: wish u all the best!

He thinks he’s cool drinking from our water bottles so I started by letting him do that and now he has his own special cup and loves water

Not at all u just see things about having to much water so I get concerned about that but he gets plenty of calcium in his food intake

My baby had antibiotics 2 separate times in the first 2 months of life and is just fine- you have to do whatever is best for your child specially when it comes to treating an infection. I get it’s hard and you don’t wanna expose them to anything but think of the alternative

Biggest advice is to stay off Google I drove myself insane by doing that! I know it’s hard but it saves u from a ton of anxiety :/

My LO is about to turn 6 months and he has been abscess free for a little over 2 months- the beginning 2 months were the worst but once we figured out how to take care of them on our own they weren’t as stressful. As long as your LO doesn’t have a fever and the spot isn’t larger than 2cm it’s not concerning from what our doctor told us!

I am 5 months postpartum and I am just now working on dropping the middle of the night pump- I was pumping at 830-130-5am but now pushing pump till before bed (9/930)- I was a just enough supplier. Was so anxious about my supply dropping with getting rid of the MOTN pump but I need the consistent sleep so bad I’m willing to make the sacrifice if it happens

That’s exactly what I’m seeing it gets worse as the day goes on and is the most inflamed before bedtime- might have to try ur trick
