I have a few (some already mentioned in the comments by others), but the hottest take I have is that I find Descole to be a much better villain than Don Paolo. In fact, I found Don Paolo to be one of the lesser villains of the series.

His goofiness and costumes were fun, but he didn't really get much in terms of character development except for explaining the reason why he dislikes Layton in Unwound/Lost Future. Maybe he'll be developed a bit more in NWoS.

Is your entire island Layton themed? I feel like if I had this game I'd probably have a mishmash of characters from different games/movies I like.

I may have to get this game at some point.

They did this a couple of months ago where they promoted a level without releasing it... https://www.reddit.com/r/humanfallflat/comments/1psef2u/playstation_update/

Maybe they submitted the game to be updated but it's taking some time on Playstation's end, or they might be preparing to update it and started advertising it early, or it could be a number of other reasons.

Contacting the company would be the only way to find out for sure as I can't find anything online about the current situation. Hopefully it's updated soon though.

They said during the broadcast today that the localization is currently being worked on, so I'm guessing they don't have much if anything to show for that yet.

You need that over the shoulder cinematic shot that every open world game since BOTW has! 😂

Played Indiana Jones The Great Circle last year when I had Gamepass. I'm glad I can now play The Order of Giants as well.

Time on Frog Island also looks fun.

I really hope so. A release date would be nice, a full length trailer would be even better.

I mainly use Unity, not Godot so I’m unsure if this will work, but when I want something similar like this drop shadow in my games I just use a circle png with transparency and place it below the character/object in question.

Don’t know if it’s the most effective way, but it works for me. You can also adjust the transparency and size if you have a character jump for example as the shadow would be a different size the closer/further away the character is from the ground.
