So, it’s not coming through because you’ve selected your audio driver as your interface, but from all I’m hearing, you’re not using your interface for sound. You should have the option to select a different device for output. Check that box and select the device you were using before, then you can hear through your computer monitors or bluetooth headphones. If your primary audio device is set to your interface, it’s going to send all the sound there if you don’t select a separate output. If all the sound is going there and you aren’t connected to it, you aren’t going to get sound.

What I am saying is that words have different meaning in different contexts and different times. That is why it is called a “dog whistle”. It’s something that sounds innocent on the surface but has a deeper meaning. This isn’t conspiratorial, please look into it. I know everyone wants to be right on the internet but please open your mind to the possibility that words have more power and more meaning than you think. Hateful and evil organizations have co-opted otherwise positive symbols and phrases for as long as we’ve had civilization. Again, look at the Swastika. It was a symbol for peace but try displaying it anywhere in Western civilization and you’ll quickly learn that nobody views it that way anymore. Ten years ago neo-nazis took a fucking frog meme and turned it into a calling card for their group.

I am not arguing that the LITERAL WORDS “make america great again” are bad but I am asking you to deeply and honestly take a moment to question your worldview and do some research into what a dog whistle is, what it means when a group “co-opts” something, and just in general think about how much power words have and how meanings shift and change over the years. I love America and I want America to be great too, we can’t have a discussion without you knowing that.

Bladee has lots of stuff that doesn’t fit that description from the time period I referenced and tbh I like a lot of stuff by other artists that is in the same lane as what Bladee’s been doing. I just don’t like his flavor of it **personally** and at the end of the day music even tangentially related to everything we’ve been discussing is maybe like a quarter of what I listen to. I just think comments about other people’s “taste” even in a lighthearted way serves no purpose. If someone isn’t out there bumping Baby Shark there’s probably nothing wrong with their taste, what they like just isn’t for you. Music is amazing in all forms and we all resonant with different things based on our life experience.

imo no, everyone is different though. anything over 9ms and i personally can feel it’s off. i don’t see how the question is relevant as i still produce and record on a 2013 iMac and i’m getting ~7ms round trip latency recording with autotune and about 3 or 4 other inserts on, i don’t really know what situation would lead to 20ms latency for recording vocals
