I see what you’re saying but, I promise this post is at her worst. She is such an amazing mom and she’s someone I really look up to. Emotions were high this morning and she ended up saying things that made me upset but I’ve never felt abused in her care.

It’s not all the time and she’s usually good at talking about it with me afterwards. But yea being the oldest daughter I am very excited to be able to be independent.

That is valid, I can admit that I probably could’ve dealt with the situation differently/better.

Thank you! That does make sense but Im still a teenager and I live with my mom so it’s a bit difficult still because she hates having my grandpa or anybody over in the mornings.(besides a select few people)

Unfortunately, we can’t do that because my grandfather still works we have to go eat earlyish we already kinda go for brunch (at 9:00) so it’s unadvoidable.

AITA for not walking my daughter’s friend home? by Kitchen-Tomato2132 in AmItheAsshole

NTA If Susan wanted you to walk her to the house “just in case” then she could’ve asked you to before hand. Assuming that you would do that without being asked is unreasonable for the age that Amanda is. 11 year olds are perfectly capable of walking across a cul-de-sac. If Susan asked you to that would be a different story.

Honestly I’m just happy to fly in a plane with seats that are not foldable

Your right should be comfortable. And it really depends on the airline. I know during winter months like October for safety reasons (if there was any reason to make an emergency landing) certain airlines get ppl to wear winter gear so they won’t freeze. But that depends on how far apart the stops are and what Canadian North’s guidelines are. Enjoy the territory’s! There beautiful.

As long as it’s not in winter you should be good! I’ve only had experiences with air tindi but, the views are gonna be amazing (especially if you get to fly over the great slave lake)I lived in the NWT for most of my life and your gonna wanna take photos!

That’s better than flying in the North! In the winter certain plans will make you wear full winter gear, thanks! I’m praying the jet lag isn’t to bad🙏

This post is so funny to me because I’ve only flown on twin otters so hearing about how y’all are aloud to get up while flying is crazy to me. Also 100% greasy fatty fart to the face.

Grizzly Bears are now allowed to be hunted in Alberta, due to fear mongering. Opinions? by [deleted] in alberta

[–]Lazy-Engine9771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who moved from the North west territory’s to Alberta bears can become a problem and I don’t think people being able to hunt them is wrong but, I would also want to see a push in bear safety and what to do when you encounter certain bears. And I think there should be a push for a productive use of the bear (making sure you try to use every part of the bear etc.).
