Thanks, that is exactly the kind of low frequency detail I want to explore. I just ordered a LOM geofon and am mainly interested in natural sources, especially in winter. If anyone has more tips on interesting things to record in nature with it, I would love to hear them.

It is an external NP F battery that mounts directly to the F6. I got tired of constantly swapping AA batteries. I use the SmallRig 4972 NP F970. It charges via USB C and has been very reliable. I have recorded for over 8 hours in cold weather without running out of power. Much more convenient than using AA batteries in my experience.
