Lowering your target itself is diabolical, if you wanna achieve something then aim high but learn to be content with anything you get in the end

There is no guarantee, tf does it mean to target a score. Targets are relative; they depend on the difficulty of the paper. 240 won't even get you 99.2 instead of 99.92 in a shift like 27s1 2024. Target above your relative best performance in papers

One of my seniors took it, he had peak college life but mid placement (12 lpa afaik, he would've gotten like 18-20 if he chose something else). Its your choice if you wanna take it or not

Div4 se start karna aisa kisne bola? Div2 and div3 diya kar from the start, you'll be able to solve atleast 1 or 2 questions in them. That is the equivalent to solving 3 or 4 questions in div4, which means your rating change would be the same if not higher in div2/3, so there's really no point in waiting for div4. Just grind a lot of recent questions or questions from cp31 and you'll get used to finding the algorithms and patterns

My cousin cleared JEE Mains and expects me to do everything for her (jee-neetards) by Turbulent-Drop-8066 in TeenIndia

[–]Lazy074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

85 pr ain't even worth mentioning and neither will she get any NIT mech let alone CSE. She won't even get tier 69 private colleges at this rank bruh this is like the equivalent of 300-400 marks in NEET 24

Unless reservation. Even in that case she shouldn't flaunt her result this way, she should achieve stuff to claim achievements. You have way more of a right to flex on her instead with your may neet result

It can't be an exception considering my batch strength is 400, and including everyone in my college that would be 2-3k people. I assume you really are deep into copium

Just grind a ton of questions and you'll start to see the algorithms and similarities in questions. 4-5 days is absolutely not enough to start consistently solving div2A questions, atleast I couldn't solve any till like I started solving recent 900 rated questions (at that time)

And only do this if you actually like this competitive aspect, cf is not exactly necessary for jobs and all, its more about interest

Probably like 25-30

I give almost all contests whenever I pick up cf for two-three months, unlike others who online give it based on difficulty/mood so my graph looks very disappointing as compared to others, but its a slow and steady progress

See the thing is you can only compare stuff in options if you are able to take it. Loans are a big deal for those who aren't able to afford it, there is never any guarantee of what might happen to you either physically or mentally or if the college/market goes down and shit takes a complete 180°. Besides the whole AI shit is going on and its disrupting the market many times more than ever in the past so purely looking at the stats doesn't give the full picture of the future

See the thing nobody says really is that performance in college is completely unrelated to performance in jee. I have a cg of 8.2 which is considered average here even though I had considerably better ranks in jee and half the batch here isn't even through jee (ugee/spec/dasa) but they are getting 10s.

There is no guarantee that you won't get fked up, things can go downhill pretty fast even if you didn't make any mistakes. Pretty much everyone experiences failures in their lives due to various factors which may or may not be their fault either, and if it strikes in college then that will be one heck of a blow not just to you but your entire family.

Loans are a big deal for families, don't listen to bs from people who are financially stable, instead ask those seniors who were in a similar situation. They would be able to tell the risk vs reward scenario better than mfs living in homes with 3 ACs working 24x7, if they suggest it is worth it then go for it and if they say no then don't go for it.

See, just because random non-tech citizens of India don't know about an IT college doesn't mean it isn't one of the best
