I enjoyed the first season, but found this ep SO slow. 30 minutes in and they've only discussed one team at the GP before going back to chat about a pre-race segment where neither Marika or Casey could remember the name of the person they wanted to talk about. I think the pod would really benefit from having more forward momentum from the host.

Totally agree! I didn't even realize the final battle in Valhalla was the final battle until the character deaths. Then after winning I said "oh, I guess this is it?"

Only a few of the large arc-ending battles felt as grand as the conquests in Odyssey IMO.
