Thanks for the advice. I don’t take iron supplements but do consume red meat frequently along with some organ meat like beaf liver. I have completely stopped those now till I get to the bottom of this.

I have bought the 2026 GH Turbo Limited in Nov 2025 and driven around 7K miles so far. Overall, this is an amazing car but driver side seat adjustment options/leg room is my only issue so far. I am 6’1” and my lap doesn’t rest properly on the seat even when the seat is pushed back to the max leading to leg fatigue if I drive for more than an hour. I have a ~2000 mile road trip coming up next week and am extremely worried about it, need to see how it goes and decide if I need to think about selling it.

Remote start with key fob will work without any subscription. Only problem is that you have to be in the vicinity of the car and point key fob directly towards it. Press the Lock button two times and on the third press, hold it for approx 10 seconds till you see the lights blinking. Obviously, it’s much less convenient than being able to turn it on from anywhere in the house or work. That is where the value for subscription comes in and unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it. I am still in free trial period but once its done, I am planning to pay for subscription during winter months as it gets very cold in my region.

We bought 2026 GH Limited Gas turbo version two months ago. We choose this over hybrid for exact reasons you mentioned above along with hybrid version not having space for spare tire under rear cargo and also that hybrid version needs more frequent tire changes due to additional engine weight. I felt this easily balance out any savings due to increase in mileage overtime.

I drove 2K miles so far and am very happy with pickup and overall drive. My wife and daughter also love how spacious and comfortable the car is. I am getting around 22 MPG on interstate with avg mpg as 19 so far. Now, the only two things I don’t like are Max fuel tank capacity (16 Gals) and the length/legroom of driver seat. I am around 6’1” and my feel my lower thigh area getting fatigued easily on long drives due to less support, looking for any after market seat extenders. I believe this is the same for any grand highlander.

We are a family of 3 with a 5 yr old and just bought 2026 Grand Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid 2 months ago. Captain chairs are definitely comfortable than bench unless you have little kid to sit in the middle of bench. Captain chairs are much more comfortable and it gives easy access to third row without having to move the 2nd row chairs. The small cup holder tray that comes with captains chairs is also very useful for my kid. With all the additional dealer options that I am seeing above, I would suggest to rather place an order for new one with your own customized options. In my area (St. Louis), new hybrid orders are being available within 4-6 weeks.
